I'd take the 30fps for a game to look like that. Battlefront wasn't a hardcore competitive twitchy shooter that needs it.

I agree, and as I said earlier if it turns out that this is in fact a mainly 3rd person game I would not be surprised if it's 30fps on consoles. Especially with the way DICE is hyping up the visuals across all platforms, it makes me wonder if they have forgone 60fps in order to get close to the visuals they want.

SP using much higher res assets. If DICE wants to show off it's graphical muscle, they'll most definitely be showing off SP.

It's effectively a reboot of the series, so a 3 wouldn't be there.

Since I saw this getting brought up earlier, that original footage was never said to be in-game, just in-engine. You can render a lot of fantastic stuff in-engine that goes out the window once you have to get a game to run properly.
