This is INSANE hahah Kojima you freakin genius.

News sites all around the world on tv and www report on this.

BEST MARKETING EVER!

Calm your tits, i think MGS fans can't deal with real life coincidences anymore. Guys in the Off-topic forums know about this for a week.

So kicking off conspiracy theories part 2
Sergio Canavero is part of the Turin Advanced Neuromodulation Group

Someone look into this guy for my amusement? No seriously, I cannot find said group he is associated with, except in reference to his one article.

edit: and yes i know he did a ted talk :V
edit: who the hell doesnt have a webpage -_-

I listened to the TED Talk, could've been an actor.
lol
The guy practically didn't exist before 2013, nor does anything exist he is associated with.
This the only scientific article he ever published: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/?linkname=pubmed_pmc_refs&from_uid=24244881
Its called: The “Gemini” spinal cord fusion protocol: Reloaded

Russian Doctor = PP Doctor
HEAVEN = Outer Heaven
Snake with hand on his face = Grey Fox with hand on his face = Joseph Joestar with hand on his face
Head Transplant = Dio Brando
Hideo Kojima = Hirohiko Araki

IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW

Uhm, wait... do people think the entire head transplant thing is viral marketing for MGSV? A Kojima troll?

Valery Spiridonov is a real person. You think he's just part of MGS V marketing? The neurosurgeon has also done a TED talk and many interviews. This is too big to be part of a promotional campaign for a videogame.

I just thought Kojima might have based the appearance of the doctor on this guy. Beyond that, it's crazy talk.

Spiridonov, huh?

The guy practically didn't exist before 2013, nor does anything exist he is associated with.

There are articles mentioning him and the group in relation to yoga and arthritis from 2010. Keep in mind Italian articles are going to call it the Gruppo avanzato di neuromodulazione di Torino.

The fact that he can't disclose where the money for the project is coming and the fact that he supposedly hasn't personally met the patient or even checked his medical records ( he doesn't even know if they can actually go through the procedure with the current volunteer) makes this whole thing sound very iffy.

I guess :p Funny that every article refers to them though when yeah uh no one knows who they are?

Sadly, I'm so jaded and predisposed to believe that this organization, this doctor and all his work is fake. We already know his head transplant won't work and he's giving false hope to his patient.

I listened to the TED Talk, could've been an actor.

Unfortunately, there are many fake speakers in the broader TEDx community. Google TEDxValenciaWomen, if you're not familiar.

If you click through to his name on the article you can find articles reaching back to 1993

So the argument at this point isnt going to be is he legit, its just going to be is this kojima vs GAF found some random man :p

I feel inclined to say team random man because kojima is insane but this seems too random. But I started this, soo whatever :V

edit: organization, i think people have proven he did stuff back to the 90s lol.
Inb4 someone suggests kojima set this up 20 years ago

Like really...what the fuck is going on???? I've seen a lot of things in gaming, marketing, on Gaf but THIS? One is for sure. Kojima is True genius. Mestermind.

Wait, that was in Limassol?!...

Oh for fuck's sake, just as I gather the pieces of my broken mind after reading through this topic and deciding it must be a freak coincidence, or at most Kojipro using the doctor's likeness for whatever reason, new details just keep popping in that make me question reality.

It's like I'm in the Twilight Zone right now.

Maybe MGSV is about dealing with the phantom pain of feeling a phantom limb, body or whayever was transplanted. #jumpontotheconspiracytrain

It's not only that. There were found some files in the pc version of MGS :GZ and Cyprus was among those files.

Mhmhm. If this is a con, it's a long-time con. I mean, too many things line up.

The doctor looking like him? Could be a coincidence.
Human Head transplant? Plausible, long shot, something that's been used in MGS before(Raiden/Cyborgs), coincidence.
The procedure is called HEAVEN?.....things stop being a coincidence.
The doctors organization takes place in Cyprus, which we KNOW is in MGSV? Now things start connecting together.

Suddenly the doctor looking like the doctor in MGSV stops being a coincidence. A connection starts forming.
