The best thing I've read about the transplant (other than this far more interesting thread) is that one doctor said it shouldn't be done, because it's potentially a fate worse than death. Semi qoute:

"The brain will become inundated with foreign pathways and chemistry that it will lead to levels of insanity never before experienced"

That's some goddamn powerful statement. Holy shit

get into contact with Kojima? then what? even if he says he has nothing to do with it nobody would believe him because remember they straight up lied when asked if they have anything to do with The Phantom Pain.

I dont think Kojima needs to be contacted lol. I dont see anyone getting in trouble.

I'm guessing you didn't see us get debunked?



Also I would beg of Lionel Mandrake to summarize, but I think the insanity is still going.

This got debunked (the actor playing the doctor in MGS V just looks really similar to the real doctor) but the thread carries on.

The nose is completely different. Not the same person, although close. All this ruckus over an unrelated coincidence. Am I reading correctly that there are news outlets picking this up now? Lol

Well yeah it could be possible Kojima cast someone who looked like him, because of all these coincidences but I doubt it.

Sure. Of course it doesn't seem likely because of how little we actually know about either game or doctor, but there's fun to be had in the research as long as people don't delude themselves into being onto an unlikely and immoral marketing campaign. Even if everything is 100% coincidental I would still enjoy just how similar things can seem through a biased comparison.

Exactly, the train keeps chuggin' and with people like Athene picking it up it will continue to snowball, which I find concerning.
This could tarnish the reputation of the Doctor, which I would hate to see. Even if he is a little crazy.

But man, only on NeoGAF could such madness occur! Greatest thread since the madness of E3 2013?

At this point, Kojima's stuck with this even if he isn't responsible for it and Dr.Canavero's a forever a joke witch doctor DX

I can't believe you all haven't realized that they purposefully modeled the in-game doctor to have a different nose. A move to cull the doubters. The weak ones.
