Yeah but I still need a lot of practice on how to use them properly

Nah you were using them well, I think what you have to work on is not trying to make your patterns predictable, at first I had trouble with your villager, but you usually always used side areal after being launched (and I kept running into it lol) , or neutral areal after side B (which I also kept running into..)

Yeah, when you kept punishing me for jumping at the ledge I told myself to stop, doing that but kept doing it anyways, I need more practice fighting people.

Yeah, that's the problem I was having while fighting your village, I kept running into your side and neutral aeral, I kept telling myself to just stop which I eventually did. GG's nice villager, also you only used Duck Hunt once, why?

I only started maining duck hunt a few days ago when I found out he had a alt costume that remininded me of my dog, need a lot more practice with him.

Alrighty! Anyone from bracket 7 who wants to play? I'll be available from now (just give me 30 minutes to make coffee and wake up), and basically all day. If no one from my bracket is available, anyone else who would like to practice some 1v1?

Edit: This thread is completely dead :(

Yeah I wouldn't expect much for another 2 hours at least. I'd have fought you a little back when you originally posted but I have a policy of stopping after 2am, my play gets way too shitty and it hypes me up when I should be calming down to sleep...

Haven't been keeping up on the Mewtwo stuff that much, but did it ever come out? I have both games registered and didn't get an email.

Posted this a couple pages back but didn't get replies, if anyone's interested in a Mewtwo code for 3DS please let me know. I won't be using it.

You shouldn't lie like that. I almost got excited.
Hahaha. :)

Throw out a few dtilts and they break. ;-)

Also, Smashboards got the recovery frames on his moves up. Dtilt has 20 recovery frames, which is really surprising to me. It feels like far fewer.

I keep checking Youtube for good Mewtwo gameplay videos, and I get NOTHING. I have only seen one Mewtwo better than mine, and that's annoying, because I am not good with him yet. I know he's new, but I have unreasonable expectations...

Well you aren't the only one who sucks with him.
I don't think I suck. I can almost go even against a lot of good players here, and they have months of experience while I have 2 weeks. Contextually, I am very pleased with my Mewtwo.

I also did 2v2 last night with Mewtwo, and my team was almost undefeated. Once, I even won the match 2v1 when my partner died early, and I started that scenario at 110% while my opponents were at 40% and 70%. I just like watching good play of characters I am learning so I can get new ideas. I would murder the innocent for a good Mewtwo vs. Pikachu set to watch.

Edit: What is the fastest FAir in the game?

Only time I felt helpless was against a Falcon yesterday on FG. Didn't know what to do and then I get spiked out of teleport before grabbing the ledge.

Any tips on dealing with Villager's slingshot attack as Ness? The guy I play against uses it constantly. Lots of time he'll hang around a ledge and just slingshot while bouncing on/off the ledge. Very frustrating. If he catches me off the stage, he can slingshot me to kill my second jump forcing me to use PK Thunder to recover, but then he'll just pocket my PK Thunder.

If he sticks to the ledge couldn't you pk thunder harass him?

He can't pocket from behind.

He can't pocket from behind.

He'll only stick to the ledge if I'm within range. Such as just after I launch him and am trying to go for the kill. Makes trying to kill him extremely difficult.

Also, he can totally pocket from behind as pocket has some i-frames allowing the projectile to get close enough to pocket range.

Well, we should figure out who here plans on taking Mewtwo seriously, and figure out ways to help each other. It's a long trip.

I've been playing Mewtwo pretty much exclusively. Thinking about putting together some sort of video but I'm lazy and probably won't put in the effort to actually make it something informative :v

A dude I played in FG uploaded one of our matches. Quick game with a few good examples of Mewtwo's ability to run a train on characters with linear recoveries and/or no fast aerials to mash out of strings.

If he regrabs the ledge without touching the ground he loses invincibility. If he's being obnoxious at the ledge then just stand on the edge and block. Best case scenario, he regrabs the ledge and you get to punish (not sure what Ness's most consistent option is here... downward angled Ftilt?) Worst case he lands on stage and you reset to neutral.

The worst thing you can do in that matchup is get impatient and chase him offstage. Like you said, pocket absolutely ruins your recovery. Just gotta be patient and engage on your own terms.

Thulius, seeing as you're in the thread, you available to play? Or anyone else for that matter. I've played Bloodborne and for glory peeps all day and it's getting boring :(

At least I finally beat
Logarius
in Bloodborne, who I've been stuck on for a couple of days!

Nah, stuck at work, won't be home for another 5 1/2 hrs. If you're still around then I'll definitely be down to play.

I thought Logarius was pretty easy. So many other bosses give me more trouble than him.

I already decided I am maining Mewtwo.

Low tiers seem to resonate with me.
Over Bowser and Dorf?

I will watch this later today.

Guys i bought a ethernet adaptor

Yaaaaay

welcome to the club! mine is still stuck in LA thou :c

that's the reason why I have been playing HW & MK8 this week, I could do my ranbat match of the week with TWILT thou, our connection is pretty good most of the time, once the adapter arrives I can play everybody without being the cause of lag :'D
