So many haters.

For good reasons.

Mine is a personal one where I call King.com uninspired hacks of the game industry who can't come up with a single original thought and who then sue other people for using words more correctly than them.

And their games sucks honestly. Might as well just buy Bejeweled and not have to deal with them.

Well, you will be able to uninstall it and it won't leave junk on your PC, since every Universal Windows App is sandboxed, so I don't see any problem.

This thread is embarrassing. Why must we hate everything popular?

The only thing embarrassing is not being familiar with the fact that people don't like bloatware. We dont like it on Android, we don't like it on Windows, we didn't like it on those old emachines and dell pc's and we wont ever like it.

This isn't some new revelation, and it's not some generic hating of the establishment, nor a slight against whatever this game is. Its people not liking preinstalled nonsense.

Cmon now, this sort of crap has been around since the Win95 days with pre built PCs, and people have ALLLLLWAYS hated it.

Aside from it being a shitty game (my opinion)a lot of us just don't enjoy having to sit there and uninstall bullshit bloatware.

If they released 2 versions of the OS, 1 with and 1 without bloatware i would gladly pay the extra money.

In this case, you just need to go to the Start Menu, right-click on its tile and click uninstall. Three clicks. In fact, I imagine you will probably either unpin other titles or all of them. So it will just be a part of the process. Thankfully, it is much simpler and you won't need to worry about it anymore.

This. I get the feeling that the people that are saying "LOL whats the big deal" don't know (or don't care) that King are basically the equivalent of patent trolls. They stole/modified a popular game, then tried to sue anyone for copying their copied game or even daring to use the individual words "candy", "crush", or "saga". Even the name of their own company is uninspired and probably has been used by several other companies before them. They're a hack company undeserving of their success. Seeing MS in a partnership like this with them is nauseating. (Not that I have a very high opinion of MS at the moment either.)

Lol didn't they try to patent the word "Saga" or some shit? That's next level trolling.

It sure does. I had it back in the Windows Phone 7 days.

Well, that certainly is... something.

Yeah, this is why I don't want the stuff installed on Windows 10. I don't care if it can easily be uninstalled (which I will), I don't want to think that such an unscrupulous company is getting even more attention and money.

I'm indifferent to most mobile games and the companies behind them. I just don't like King because of what they've done.

Makes me wonder what other things we are going to find there "for free".

To be honest, I only hate the Candy crush Facebook notifications.
