* Closing statements. THE END!

I don't think that's too unrealistic.

What's missing:
Uncharted Collection - I think this is in development, but I feel like it is still a little ways off. It would be nice if they had this ready for the holidays but I think they're purposely waiting until after Uncharted 4 releases to bring out this remaster. They don't want to risk franchise fatigue, that and an Uncharted Collection deserves better than to be rushed out the door to fill a need on store shelves. E3 2016 reveal.

Media Molecule - Whatever they're working on is the one game I want to see most from Sony's first party. LittleBigPlanet was arguably my favorite series on PS3. I think its pretty likely they're waiting until Tearaway: Unfolded ships to really start talking about their next game. Sony's Paris Games conference in October is where they'll be announcing their PS4 game IMO.

God of War 4 - Seems a tad early for GoW4. I guess I wouldn't be too surprised if they brought a teaser trailer to E3. PlayStation Experience (if its happening this year) is where I see this game being announced though.

Sony Bend - I wouldn't be surprised if Bend also announced their game at E3. But I am already predicting Horizon, GT7 and Ni No Kuni 2 to be unveiled. The smart move is probably to sit on this one a bit longer until Paris Games Week or PlayStation Experience.

The Last Guardian - TGS?

I'm hoping the new Plants Vs Zombies game isn't just straight up another Garden Warfare, or if it isn't at least does something different, like maybe different time periods.

Also hoping Microsoft realise Killer Instinct could be an amazing base for a crossover fighter

EDIT: I'm tagged! :D

  • Street Fighter 5 demo followed by Summer 2016 release date announcement

$100 price cut TBA ate either E3 or PGW. Unsure which it will be

Curious to see how many of these I get right.
Sounds pretty reasonable. My mind will be blown if most of these actually happen. But to be honest, an Uncharted 4 gameplay trailer with improved visuals over the PSX demo will keep me fucking hyped for the entire week.

Hell a new trailer with the same visuals will keep my hyped.
The PSX demo trailer graphically was insane for the scope it was. Fantastic AI showcase too. Which is what I hope most for Uncharted 4. Just really high class and advanced AI along with that same rollercoaster feel of Uncharted 2.

Okami's official facebook account just updated their cover picture since like, forever. Clearly a sign that Capcom will announce Okami 2 at E3.

;_____; I'm desperate, I know.
Okami 3. Ignoring same universe sequels gets you nowhere.

Probably for the NWC thing.

Agreed. The PSX demo already looked amazing IMO and the AI was incredible. But you could tell it was obviously a work in progress. Some stuff, like ambient occlusion and self shadowing weren't up to scratch yet. I'm hoping it looks better at E3. Regardless, pretty damn hyped for a gameplay demo!

There hasn't been a lot of discussion about the third party conferences in here. Personally, I think EA has the potential to steal the show with Battlefront footage, Mirror's Edge footage, the new Need For Speed, and Mass Effect 4. Should effortlessly top their show last year.

And regardless of how everyone feels about Ubisoft's games, they usually have solid conferences. They're predictable and full of lame humor, but they're well paced and usually have good stuff. I'm excited about what their big closing announcement will be this year. I'm hoping for Splinter Cell, personally.

I think most of it has a fairly high chance of happening. The only true long shots are the Monster Hunter reveal from Capcom, MM new IP, and Bend's new IP. MM might hold off for their new IP until PGW and Bend's IP strikes me as something that might get shown at PSX so both are a bit of a stretch. Honestly Monster Hunter is more wishful thinking than a prediction haha! Everything else seems likely.

I'm sure U4 will be there. I'm thinking this will likely be their set price blowout demo (akin to the train demo for U2 and the plane demo for U3). Of course they could be saving that for PSX too. If it's not at E3 I'm sure they'll have the remaster trilogy showcase there instead.

Lots of possibilities. Really excited to see what Sony has planned.

Like I said above if anything U4 related is shown Id bet it would be a story/set price showcase. Then we'd likely see an extended gameplay demo at PSX with the game being playable on the show floor. That way they can keep things feeling fresh between the two showings. Of course it's also possible they'll hold off showing UC4 again at all until PSX rolls around this year.

My personal hope for every single publisher.

Stop it with the 'project teasers.' If you're going to announce a game, be it by CGi trailer, or gameplay reveal, or in-engine reveal or whatever, just properly announce it in earnest.

Don't do something like throw a random video that the only purpose is to tell us there is new Halo/Uncharted/Battlefront/etc coming, but with so little context other than just there's a game.

I'd appreciate it if the first reveal at least gives a very clear context of what we'd be getting.

Yeah, honestly, Monster Hunter on PS4 sounds like wishful thinking. It could happen, but I think the chances are higher that it will not. Still, if it is announced, day fucking one! Also, I would love a setpiece from Uncharted 4, but I think it's best to hold it off until PSX.

Does the Uncharted 4 E3 demo count in your opinion? It did give us an idea of the setting and hinted at what troubles Drake may be getting himself into.

That counts as a proper reveal for me.

But not the Uncharted map-voice-over thing they did back when PS4 launched.

Or the 'Halo concept video' of Master Chief in a cape.

It's probably way too early to hope for Injustice 2 right? :( I'd even take a CG trailer, just need to know that it's a thing.

I think as far as Third-Party conferences go, Ubisoft is gonna have the weakest conference. I don't know why, I just feel it.

Square-Enix definately has something up its sleeve, otherwise they wouldn't do a Press Conference for the first time since 2009. Same for Bethesda.

Like, at a bare minimum SE has:

- Rise of the Tomb Raider
- Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
- Just Cause 3
- Final Fantasy XV

And there's potential to see things like Kingdom Hearts, though considering FFXV is gonna have a small presence, I won't hold my breath for it.

Bethesda at least has Doom 4, with potential for Dishonered 2, Fallout 4, a new Wolfenstein maybe.

Maybe Ubi won't have the weakest, but competition is gonna be fierce.

Posted this in the Sony thread but I guess it should go here instead:

Hey GAF, got some interesting news (leak?) for you guys but since i've been perma juniored I'll just post it here... If anyone thinks it's thread worthy, be my guest.. Maybe ask a mod or something before. So recently there was NAB ( a motion graphics conference) and some guy did a tutorial breakthrough on their latest motion graphics project. He says the video is not out yet and that it's confidential but his tutorial has been uploaded lol. Now it's basically just the intro animation for an upcoming E3 show but theree's quite a few stuff in the text that appears, so let me break it down for you:

- Live from Los Angeles
- will be hosted by Kumail Nanjiani
- special appearances: Hideo Kojima, Gabe Newell
- Satoshi Tajiri
- Michael Morhaime
- Olivia Munn
- Masaya Matsuura, Sarah Underwood
- Will Wright
- SHigeru Miyamoto
- Kevin Pereira
- Chris Hardwick

WORLD PREMIERES BY:

- Nintendo
- Naughty Dog
- Infinity Ward

Ok so to see the video I'm talking about see here at about 2m45: http://www.cineversity.com/vidplaytu...rett_morris_2/

Can someone save this from vimeo or something? have no idea how..

It's probably for a gametrailers show or something but that's just me speculating. Anyway, pretty cool to already see the teaser.

My bold prediction is that Gran Turismo 7 gets announced and released in 2016.

This is what Verendus had to say about it in 2013:

Basically, it's being targeted as GT7 internally. All things well, we'll see it by 2015. They've been working on whilst doing GT6. If they become too ambitious, it'll be GT7 Prologue essentially. We're not getting GT6 PS4; too much of a marketing and perspective mess. Next 6-8 months will be pretty crucial in terms of determing release.

Since then Kaz already said that there will be no prologue, so hopefully they'll announce it and release it in the same year like they did with GT6.

The ridiculously high expectations are why E3's are never really that good. How some of these lists actually exist as realistic possibilities in some of your minds is beyond me.

Sony are going to announce the project of every single first party studio? Despite that they will also still have time to fit in all their 3rd party partners and at least one 3rd parrty exclusive.

There are going to be 2 or 3 games announced the entire week that you care about.

It could be the Pre-E3 Show Spike does, but Nintendo normally is never there. And Gabe Newell?

I feel like this is just something he did for shits and giggles.

Just watched it and he makes a point to say he cant talk about the project the video is related to, so who knows.

I really don't think so as this kind of motion graphics is not that easy , takes a while to render, etc. Anyway... I'm going to bed. I have nothing else to say anyway, thought it was interesting and I'm quite sure this is not a random stuff. That guy has no clue what those names even mean I bet. He's a motion graphics designer just making an intro/trailer... Oh well,I guess i'll be saying 'leaked this 4 weeks ago' in about 4 weeks. Cheers

Found another source , its the 2nd video in this post 3min in: http://greyscalegorilla.com/blog/tu...-with-brett-morris-from-capacity-at-nab-2015/

It still works. I have no clue how to access it on vimeo though.

Here, I ripped that part into an MP4: http://a.pomf.se/bbbaog.mp4

Just to outline:

Host - Kumail Nanjiani - is a comedian and actor. Fits the celebrity bill of these things.

Kojima, Newell, Shiggy, and Will Wright everyone knows.

Satoshi Tajiri is the creator of Pokemon.
Michael Morhaime is the pres and co-founder of Blizzard.
Masaya Matsuura is the NanOn-Sha PaRappa guy.

I find it really amusin people expecting a price drop for ps4, its selling really well, i would they do something stupid like that?

People forget every year.

This is exactly true.

Coming out of E3 2014, I was only excited for Bloodborne really. But I can push that to include Crackdown and Mirror's Edge.

GamesCOM had some better announcements. But really that's it.

There are way more than 2-3 games I care about that will probably be there.

Scalebound, Deus Ex, Hitman, UC4, Star Fox, Devil's Third, Cuphead, Phantom Pain, Mirror's Edge 2 and Rime to name but ten. And then there are the reveals of course.
