Sony E3 2015 Press Conference Dated.

I'm about to take four weeks off of work for paternity leave. One of those days happens to be Memorial day. While I could bank the day until February 15, 2016, I'm seriously thinking about taking it for the E3 Monday. Otherwise, my first day back in the office would be that Monday. HMMMMMMM

Don't do this to yourselves people.

Oh i don't even care about TLG. It's just that my guts tell me its at E3. The Robodino RPG, a new DC Game and a new Let it die Trailer/Release Date, maybe Full Throttle Remaster is all it takes for me to call this E3 a "success"

i fully expect a GT7 reveal at this E3...alongside with Horizon. from GG
Now the question is: What will be third SCE Title that Verendus teased....Sony Bend? Sony Japan?
I think GT7, Horizon, and Bend's game along with some smaller scale announcements.

Those three alone would make this one of Sony's better E3 showings.

I remember in one of the interviews with Kaz when asked about GT7 release window, he said i don't think it will be ready for 2014.
So if he was even thinking about possible release in 2014 then that means they are really far into development and as others said many of GT6 assets are created keeping in mind PS4 hardware so fall 2015 release isn't really unreasonable

Hey GAF, got some interesting news (leak?) for you guys but since i've been perma juniored I'll just post it here... If anyone thinks it's thread worthy, be my guest.. Maybe ask a mod or something before. So recently there was NAB ( a motion graphics conference) and some guy did a tutorial breakthrough on their latest motion graphics project. He says the video is not out yet and that it's confidential but his tutorial has been uploaded lol. Now it's basically just the intro animation for an upcoming E3 show but theree's quite a few stuff in the text that appears, so let me break it down for you:

- Live from Los Angeles
- will be hosted by Kumail Nanjiani
- special appearances: HideoKojima, Gabe Newell
- Satoshi Tajiri
- Michael Morhaime
- Olivia Munn
- Masaya Matsuura, Sarah Underwood
- Will Wright
- SHigeru Miyamoto
- Kevin Pereira
- Chris Hardwick

WORLD PREMIERES BY:

- Nintendo
- Naughty Dog
- Infinity Ward

Ok so to see the video I'm talking about see here at about 2m45: http://www.cineversity.com/vidplaytut/nab_2015_rewind_brett_morris_2/

Can someone save this from vimeo or something? have no idea how..

It's probably for a gametrailers show or something but that's just me speculating. Anyway, pretty cool to already see the teaser.

No way a GT game will be made in a 2 year dev cycle.

GT2 and 3 were both made on two year cycles. I think some are forgetting that they've been building assets for the PS4 since GT5. They even built a new engine with GT6 so that it would be cross-gen to make the move to GT7 much smoother and faster than with GT5.

Anyone know if they'll have another E3 showing in theaters like last year? That was pretty fun and I met a handful of GAFers.

Game development from the PS1 and PS2 days are completely incomparable today. Not even remotely.

You are getting the same game (without mobile stuff). Only difference is the artstyle. And let's be honest: The game wouldnt have looked like the reveal teaser anyway.
I feel like people who are pissed about this never cared about the game, just the art. I agree it looks great, but the game stays the same, and i play the games, not the graphics or artstyle.
And i like violent-stupid metal stuff like this.

The Infinity Ward mention makes it seem like that's just a concept video and nothing more. Infinity Ward has only made CoD games and there's no indication that's changed. There's no way that they're going to reveal a new CoD when Activision is gearing up the marketing train for Black Ops 3.

World Premieres is a term used often at Gametrailers. A NEW trailer for a game we already know about is also a World Premiere.

But what would that be from IW? Their last game was Ghosts. They're currently making the CoD for next year.

Hmm I dunno. Anyway, just passing on the information of what i came across. However I really dont think this guy put random names like that for the vid he's working on. Its just too accurate, names that are almost unknown in the gaming world, the fact it says 'live from Los Angeles' etc.

Like you said, it does look real. But aside from the IW listing, it's also strange that Geoff would allow it to be released this early. They usually like to tease the reveals and guests. Now everything is just out there.

It is sorta amusing that they're apparently planning an Attack of the Show reunion since Kevin, Olivia and Sarah are listed.

great news for TLG fans

Which news?

Btw imo the game is going to be reintroduced and released much earlier than people think.
They have been re-doing it on PS4 since 2012.
Realistically it will be a 10-15 hours single player experience, I really don't see how that would justify such a long development time, also the more money they pour in, more likely is that they won't see a return. It's not like Ico and SotC were these huge multimillion sellers....they're more prestige titles for critics.
I don't know if we'll see TLG at E3 but it has to be announced this year anyway, if it's alive.

Yeah... Suda51 was dead to me when he changed Lily Bergamo to that other shit. Was so looking forward to that. I still cry a little when I see that gif... =(

I dont think they know the tutorial would be filmed in this NAB show lol. By the way the post has been pulled off and i found another source for it:

No way a GT game will be made in a 2 year dev cycle.

PS3 PITA to develop for; GT5 using premium cars designed to be future proof; GT6 setting the groundwork for assets and technology that can be reused on GT7 on PS4. Those all add up to GT7 absolutely being doable in 2 years.

Then on the other end of the see-saw is PD.

Yep only reason they changed Lili Bergamo in that (apparently) shitty Manhunt clone must be budget :/

One of the most beloved aspects of Suda/GHM games is the art direction and presentation, since gameplay is usually decent/average at best and often not even that. So they took away the most significant factor to look forward to in that project.

And yet no one has seen anything of Lily besides the CG trailer, not a single clip of Gameplay/In Game footage or anything.
I guess trying to defend Let it Die is useless.

I hope Naughty Dog doesn't have much of a presence this E3, other than a quick U4 trailer.

I'm kinda sick of them at this point and would like for any of the other Sony studios to step up and deliver something amazing.

Judging from the video it seems real. I don't think Infinity Ward showing next year's CoD in some form is super strange, especially if it's something a bit different, like Advance Warfare was last year. Activision need to show people that CoD is still worth caring about beyond Black Ops.

That guest lineup is real good though, having Miyamoto as well as Kojima, Gabe Newell and Will Wright is kinda crazy.

Right. Never gonna happen. They're the studio behind the most acclaimed and best selling Sony games.
