Everything in now niche in Japan.

Those numbers are depressing.
Getting into the top 10 with 3k sales? Those console numbers... It is not even fun any more to visit this threads. No wonder developers are jumping ship and going mobile when you see these numbers.

It's made it up to 7 now. Not sure how much high it will go as it takes a lot of money per position here.

How good is 7 position here? Is it higher than Chain chronicle here? As the guild event is surely highly active lol. Tons of guild is chasing that number one position.

Good question.

The game doesn't chart quite as high as Chain Chronicle did at its peak, but the amount of money the top 100 makes keeps increasing, so... hard to say.

That KT game is coming natively to Vita as well, but KT loves PSP, I guess.

Probably they just noticed PSP still has some market, the last title released in April sold around 8k, which is a result similar to other otome games published only Vita (if not better)

Parakeetman

No one wants a throne you've been sitting on!
even idea factory has shifted their otome games to the vita

Considering the psp is dead no real surprise there. Plus a lot of otome games are already on the Vita as is, enough so they can have their own section in some stores for the Vita section itself lol.

Btw, do any of the folks here have thoughts on a US mutual fund heavily investing in Nintendo now? I wasn't able to read the full WSJ, but the headlines and first couple lines seemed to imply that.

Some comments from Yodobashi East Shinjuku clerk regarding the week 19 (iirc, the one with P&DSMB debut) took from Famitsu :

- P&DSMB had a slow start but he feels sure it will sell in the long time

- Xenoblade X had good sells and also helped Wii U sales

until now nothing new...

- Girl's Mode 3 is very popular among elementary school girls, often they bought both game and 3DS

- Minecraft is the most popular game bought with Vita among elementary school boys

- both Assassinaton Classroom and Seveb Deadly Islands are still popular (both for 3 DS)

- PS4 he is selling well and with constantly numbers but for the incoming weeks 3DS and Vita will become stronger

- expected selling sw are Fire Emblem If (3DS) and Persona 4 Dancing All Night

curiosity : both Games Maya (Tokyo) and COMG stores (14 shops in Niigata prefecture) are tracked by Famitsu (FYI in Tokyo there are 48 shops tracked)

I don't know why but after reading last Famitsu issue I have a feeling Splatoon will get a perfect score or almost perfect ;)

So above 100k opening for Splatoon? It looks promising for Nintendo but it would be nice to see another XCX style hardware sales lift.

Splatoon really is off to the race tracks on COMG, lol.

Nintendo, maybe you should advertise all of your games like this!

it just shows that if you want to promote a game, people will become interested in it

why they didn't do the same with W101 or Bayonetta 2 ? why the almost completely ignored XCX ?

why haven't they started rolling out the ads for Fire Emblem already

Splatoon is doing really well on Yodobashi and Amazon online charts.

I'm impressed at the interest in SRW BX too. The video is about to hit 300k views! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfYSgFDahOY
Do you or any of the ladies and gentlemen in this thread happen to know the name of the robot with the tiger shield? The one where the mech pulls of the sword from its mouth.

It is important for a sale analysis im brainstorming XD

For more similarities, the gatcha pops out armor pieces.

But they come out as monsters and are automatically turned into armor pieces for you, lol

Azelover

Titanic was called the Ship of Dreams, and it was. It really was.
They should create a group to handle Splatoon, or send it to the Pokemon company. I have Pika deja vu.
