What's this WB Interactive Entertainment PS4 exclusive about?

And why would a 3rd party publisher make a AAA exclusive (unless they get a moneyhat or something)? Out of goodwill for the platform holder? :p

If it's for VR Morpheus that makes sense though. But then it could also be on PC Oculus Rift / HTC Vive etc.

as far as i know WB and Sony have a good relationship....Maybe they made out a deal before the Gen started (Sony funding their new IP - Time exclusive/ or the Mass Effect Case)

There has been a PS Co-marketing deal for practically every major AAA game from WB; they clearly have a pretty deep partnership.

well thats an even stronger hint.
i think People are underestimating Sony in terms of Third Party Exclusives
They are obviously focusing on their first Party Studios and nowadays on marketing deals....but they still have the capabilities to get some third party exclusives from major western studios

Hopefully not imho.

I mean, hopefully not if it's in the moneyhat way for games that were planned to be multiplatform games.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's Team Bondi's Whore of the Orient.

Also, apparently Sony is the only company that has the distinct advantage of not needing to pay for third party exclusivity according to some of you on here. That's a great position to be in.

That was a WB game?

Wrong way around, Sony is the only company to pay for exclusive third party games and never get them: Agent, LA Noire, Remember Me...

(I think Rockstar are evil geniuses, actually. Scam MS out of 50 million for essentially nothing re: GTA IV, scam Sony out of an entire game (LA Noire) with what I assume was a fake game (Agent)... oh right, I still want Agent. Dammit.)

How do you think that the games we know about and will be released in a year, will be presented?
2 min trailer, 5 min live gameplay, just a mention or nothing at all etc.

Let's say for Sonys press conference:
Uncharted 4 - I would say a 5 min gameplay with more focus on story, since the PSX demo showed more of the mechanics.
Tearaway Unfolded - probably just a short trailer, especially since it's an old game and the negativity against the LBP 3 demo last year from many, not from me though.
Until Dawn - brief trailer, gameplay already shown at PSX.
No man's sky - live gameplay, 5 min surely, showing more of the exploration.
Batman: Arkham Knight - with the release the next week, I'm sure there will be some trailer to hype things up, however I consider the last years gameplay demo to be more than enough.
MGS:V - more gameplay or another trailer? I don't know, but with the quality of Kojima trailers I sure hope there will be one. (I'm nuclear!)
Street fighter V - No idea.
Persona 5 - 2015 confirmation is all I need! Please.

What do you think?

Uncharted 4 - I would say a 5 min gameplay with more focus on story, since the PSX demo showed more of the mechanics.

I think you should expect atleast more that Ten minutes for the Uncharted 4 Trailer/Gameplay + Announcement for the Collection

Uncharted 2 had a 6 minute Section at E3 2009
Uncharted 3 a 10 minute Section at E3 2011

5 min seems to short

Oh, well the more the merrier! Really looking forward to it so surely wouldn't say not to ten minutes and I guess you are correct with the collection coming. 12 minutes then :)

Is anyone compiling theses rumors?

Funny, I thought about the same. What do we have?

  • 3 unannounced EA games
  • Vehicle-based Skylanders game
  • Uncharted Trilogy Collection by Sony
  • Gears of War 1 HD for Xbox One
  • Paper Mario debut on Wii U
  • Nintendo hints new Punch-Out! title
  • Street Fighter V will be at E3 in some capacity
  • 30-minute presentation of Fallout 4

Look for 3 unannounced EA games, one of which is a new IP.

Given how much of a mess EA's conference was last year, that really doesn't tell me anything. What counts as an unannounced EA game? The announced 'in name only' (if even that) games from last year, like the new Mass Effect, Bioware's new IP, Criterion's game and the new IP from the Brothers team? More 'in name only' announcements? Or real "here's a brand new game we haven't talked about before, a name and a trailer" announcements? Because I could easily see them showing up with a video from Visceral saying "we're working on a new Star Wars game, it's awesome" and that's it. No name, no trailer, not even some screenshots.

EA should have some good games to show this year and I really can't wait for Mirror's Edge 2 but their conferences are always terrible and I'm not expecting anything different.

I so want that game to not be cancelled. I know McNamara is a douchebag and everything, but I loved L.A. Noire, and Shanghai circa 1930 would be such a fascinating and unique setting to set a game in. If Sony picked it up then that would be a megaton for me.

So those are the three then. That's cool, toss in Mirror's Edge and EA is going to have a conference worth watching this year.

I don't think BioWare is gonna have 2 announcements? They'll have Mass Effect, and then it'll probably be Criterion and Visceral's projects.

Fully agreed.

Reading through this thread made me realise that this might be the E3 which has a bucket load of new games announced.

During its latest financial conference call, Take-Two mentioned an unannounced AAA Game by 2K Games, and it might be what the developer is currently teasing on Twitter and with a new alternate reality website.

Give me the other Star Wars project

Doubt they want to cannabilize Battlefront.

There's probably people who want any Star Wars game who would not purchase Battlefront if they knew that other SW game is coming. It's few people, but they probably want to prevent that.

Hardline just came out. Viscerals title will probably just be a CG trailer. I highy doubt it tells us anything we don't already know gameplay wise. It's probably the next movie tie in.

Battlefront -> EP7
? -> Rouge One
Visceral -> EP8
Battlefront 2 -> Boba spin off
Bioware RPG -> EP 9

    [*]"Good news" for The Last Guardian fans.

Added one.

I can honestly see a Rogue One scenario where all we get is a brief teaser of the Visceral game at the start of the EA presser, similar to how there was a 45-60 second feeler teaser of Rogue One at Celebration, and then have Battlefront finish the conference.

Added one.

Which insider said that about TLG?
