This has likely been in the works for months, the arrests have nothing to do with the video game or what happens on the field?
Sony ended their FIFA sponsorship last fall.
And this is great, finally a Swedish national team that can win championships!

I wonder if the teams star rating/player ratings will be relative to other women's teams or the men's teams
Also, this fits with yesterday's rumor from a brazilian site that said FIFA 16 would include brazilian teams, women's soccer and "better defense system, slower game and changes in carreer mode"

It says in the description that there won't be men vs. women just like in the real FIFA.
I am sure someone will get angry over that but I don't see much of an issue.

Well EA Sports YT page posted the Xbox version. It's normal for PlayStation's and Xbox's YT page to not have the competitions logo in the trailers they post.
It said for me 46/24 but I guess it's to early to say somethin about it.

Just saw the list. Denmark is NOT in.
I guess it has that reputation in the US and Canada as their Women's teams are some of the best in the world and won WCs.

No, you misunderstood, I mean in the gaming industry about women and women protagonists, the same goes with Assassin's Creed recent announcements.
Come on guys don't just jump to my throat just because a male soccer fan (90% of the existing market) does not care for Female football and might like EA to concentrate on something else rather than this. It seems like a political move to me.

Be A Pro mode was in last years game so it should be in this years game.
Hopefully EA make updates to that mode this year

I don't have plans to pick up FIFA 16 but this sounds pretty good plans/intentions.
Also, holy shit @ some of the posts here.
This sounds good, hope it's true.
But they really need to do something about the goalkeepers. Give us more control. It's not like they really fixed them last year.
And they especially need to do something about the body proportions. Maybe take a look at Pro Evolution Soccer.

The close up stuff has never looked great in fifa games. All the players have this weird dead eye thing going on which is super creepy but also pretty funny in the replays.

They completely broke keepers last year. The number of times I've shot directly at a keeper and had it go in... So utterly broken.
I watch more US women's soccer than US men's. Its not a political move. The US women's team is more famous than the men's. Alex Morgan is a household name. Hope solo was too.
Good luck getting an average american to name anyone on the men's us team, let alone the coach.
It's really frustrating. The goalkeepers do a lot of dumb things and can even cost you the game.
According to the Brazilian rumor. The Brazilian league is in again, which is great.

Oh relax, I get enough nudity at work. It was just a joke about Hope Solo on The Fappening. It's not even top 10 worse things Hope Solo has been involved in. She beats up family members and gets in DUIs.
