Sony has Microsoft cornered but at the same time should be wary of an attack by Nintendo on its eastern flank. Console wars are no joke.

Aren't Sony's and Nintendo's main booths usually the same size? Why is Sony's slightly smaller this year?

Apparently a 200ft space costs $10,000 and you need to pay about $700 insurance.

WE CAN DO IT.

Indie games aren't real games, silly.

I actually really like the idea of a Gaf booth where indie devs can pay a small fee to exhibit. Mega booth kinda deal.

You guys dissing Konami do realize they will have the final laugh right? 10 years from now in a mobile only future there will be nothing but little phone shaped booths across the board. Konami will be considered the pioneer with the best games and longest lines.

We'll get a booth for 2016 to present the GOAT Savage Empire with a giant billboard of BISH's face flashing

GAF gonna become a major 3rd party publisher in the next 5 years, ya'll heard it here first

If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.
Of course Konami has a booth at E3. They have their biggest game yet to promote.

If this happens, then good on them. But that doesn't make what they did this year hurt any less.

Sony has Microsoft cornered but at the same time should be wary of an attack by Nintendo on its eastern flank. Console wars are no joke.

Sony are facing a potential war on two fronts, Microsoft in the west and Nintendo in the East. Sony should first throw everything against MS in the west, violating the neutrality of the indies to bypass Microsoft's big IPs on the border. Such an audacious attack will risk Valve entering to protect the honour of the indies, but the attack will be so quick that it will surely and swiftly force MS to go 3rd party.

Sony can then turn and face Nintendo in the East before they have had time to mobilise their huge IPs like Metroid and Star Fox. Nintendo's technologically inferior console will not be able to withstand Sony's modern machine. Besides, Nintendo have been on the brink of Revolution for years and will likely come to terms quickly.

Whole thing should be over by Black Friday, and Sony will have their place in the sun.

Knowing this is a preliminary floor plan, I still got curious as to which of The Big Three takes up more floor space. Using MSPaint and my maaaaaaaad cropping skills, I came up with this:

Original:

Sony's space compared to Microsoft:

Sony's Space compared to Nintendo:

I chose Sony as my "move around" color purely because blue is my favourite color and Sony just so happens to have chosen the color blue as their color theme. Green seems to be the color of choice for Microsoft, and I have no idea why I did white for Nintendo, just 'cause I guess. Also, my cropping skills aren't exact 1:1, there's a little bit of "residue" left over purely because I'm a hack :p

Anywho, Microsoft has the largest single booth of the big three, but interestingly the least amount of floor space. Sony overtakes Microsoft by a small margin. What was even more interesting is that Nintendo has the most floor space of the three, beating Sony by a tiny margin.

Man -- this is exciting, the first E3 I'll be on GAF for, what a wondrous time of the year for cynicism and skepticism!
