All Fallout games have been perfectly playable for me since day one.

I'm getting this day one.

Me too. Certainly had some bugs, including a game breaking bug at the end of NV on the dam, but playing FO3 and NV on day 1 were two of my favorite gaming experiences ever. I cannot fucking wait for this to come out this year.

Never played any Fallout games.

Love the post apo settings, but is it similar to TES games with rather weak main story, poorly designed quests, bland characters, collectathons and fetch quest? At least those made by Bethesda not Obsidian, I believe they could at least deliver good story and interesting characters.

I only know that the games share the same amount of bugs :-/

I mean, it's a Bethesda open world game. IT will never be properly patched and you're going to have to play it on PC with community mods to fix the more glaring issues in all likelihood.
