the pic you posted of concept art...the one poeople have been posting is pretty obviously at least in-engine, and not bullshotted enough to be "in-game footage".

On PC at least you can just increase your uGrids to force the game to load the further areas properly instead of the low LoD version, if your hardware is beefy enough. Here's a GIF comparison in Skyrim.

Whatever they come up in release will not be relevant as the community will mod the heck out of it to look gorgeous.
