I wonder how it must feel to have to wait so long for something, like Shenmue 3 fans, TLG fans or good Sonic game fans. I never had that much passion IIRC, the closest thing to me is ASOIAF but I don't mind anymore since the show will at least do what GRRM is taking his sweet time to do.

again, as opposed to sony actually working with sega to bring super-niche Yakuza 5 over, and actively working on their list. i really don't get it at all; MS hasn't fucked with sega like that since the first wave of the OG xbox, and they weren't even pleased with the classics they got then.

I'm not the smartest man but the internet is really good at making me feel superior. I mean, how much of a gullible and easily hyped peasant can one possibly be, to fall for this shit every fucking year at E3.
After all the years, I don't get super hyped on games anymore to the point where I don't know what to do with myself, but right now, this is me...
Feels really weird to feel these emotions again for a video game. Last time I got this excited was during the Dreamcast heydays.
It's really scary as well as it'll be so depressing if this ends up being nothing yet again.

A new Shenmue game needs to be a Telltale/Life is Strange type of game. Driving forklifts, organizing books and carry boxes won't work in a game now.

That new game style is like an interactive book more than a FREE style of game.

The great point about Shenmue IS the exploration, the world and everything in it.
It was never the biggest hit storywise, neither the best in any other department.
The true perfection was reached through the symbiosis of gameplay,technical advancements,the world,exploration and the wonderful music.
Everything just worked great together.
It was truly F.R.E.E.
