If only the reviewers would write about the performance of the (console) games they are reviewing, frame rate and all that. You have to look that stuff up yourself from forums etc.
Stupid.

Thanks, Junior.

I was a Member for half a year... then I got my demotion.

I haven't been the same...

FWIW, I watched the first 30 minutes on PS4, and it seems quite solid. Nothing that really stood out

Digital Foundry did an early framerate analysis, they found it to be surprisingly stable compared to most other console open world games. The only time it dipped was 26 fps with some batmobile pursuits at high speed.

Very tempted to get the PS4 version if the PC port isn't up to snuff.

That trailer wasnt a big deal, thats is just the opening scene to the game.
I think openings like that are really special and should NEVER be spoiled. Oh well, I'm sure I'll forget all about it by the time the GotY edition rolls around.

Incredible that they got graphics like this on the same engine as this
Blacklight: Tango Down

and it runs perfectly.

Have it on Xbox, can't tell if it's 900p or whatever, but it looks fantastic and runs silky smooth. Haven't really had any fps drops even with some of the intense stuff happening on screen. Very impressed.

Please, can you make a clip on Upload stiduo or something? =)
If it looks good I will preload it today =)

Anyone know what pc graphics settings the PS4 version vill run at?

Everything at "High" right?

We don't know yet without having the actual PC version or exactly what the requirement levels are shooting for to compare but going my the requirements I wouldn't be surprised if it's a mix of medium/high settings thrown in, maybe an ultra or two somewhere, don't know if there's an actual option for "ultra" textures in the PC version since the ultra requirements only call for 1GB more VRAM over the recommended settings. The minimum requirements for the GPU is a 660 which I think is somewhere in between the XBO and PS4's GPU (edit: actually it's closer to the PS4 than the XBO) while the recommended GTX 3GB 760 is better than the PS4's but I'm not sure how much so.

Really enjoying the game. Even the bat mobile stuff is cool.

Frame rate is great other than a couple of dips when in the car. Nothing major.

The res does have a "less than 1080" style about it but its just the art style.

There is a weird lower res moment when initiating a "surprise multiple takedown" move. Maybe someone else can comment on this so I lnow its not just me!

Really, really impressed. 2 early story moments made me jump!

Is this the one where,
you have to go up a small wooden board make a jump then cross and make another jump to get the batmobile to the other side and turn on the power
?

Also annoyed me, but I just finished it. I find the batmobile is a pain to handle normally but in small spaces it's even worse!

Yeah that one, I couldn't figure out how to do the last ramp/platform.

Its not weird. MS has been putting preloads a month ahead of release for a bit now. Sony has always stuck to 1-2 days before, so it should be up tomorrow.

It's fukkin irritating.

This is my first digital pre load game and I'm already having regrets because I wonder just how long it'll take for it to download on my internt and Sony servers.

I have a 15mbps connection, but I know I wont get that full speed and it'll most likely be 1-2 at the most. So 1-2 days of preload is not enough.

I'd really like info on the Xbox One version since I have credit in my account. Hoping for 1080 and steady 30.

Some PS4 shots:

Why does it look like the PS4 version is 900p uprezed to 1080p?

The edges are really soft.

It's the AA solution they're using and the CA. And then the PS4 compresses the shots too. :/

And there's a surprising lack of options on PS4. I can't even change the camera sensitivity.

how is the auto cam where it rotates the camera left and right or spins it around? i really hate that and it started to bug me aways into ArkC. wonder if modders could take it out.

Alright. One last question: and this is a HUGE ONE:

Does batman do the badass walk IN COMBAT MODE like arkham city/asylum? They removed it in origins. In origins he puts his hands up in preparation to fight at every combat encounter. That made him look like a rookie.

I want it how it used to be-- a relaxed posture, and you could slow walk into a crowd of gangsters and just dismantle them. Looked so badass -- like he wasn't even trying.

Anyone? Hopefully I explained myself right.

I have no idea but it totally makes sense to me that in Origins he would be more tense and rookie-ish at the start of a fight. Honestly I'm kinda disappointed that Origins Batman was just as capable, if not more so, than the experienced Batman of City and Asylum. It would have been interesting if they had gimped him in some way (although I'm not sure how they could make it fun for the player).

The only game to get me to stop playing witcher 3. Damn I cant wait for this!

I'm pausing from w3 as well. I don't want to burn myself out on that amazingly huge game.

Batman is gonna be fun because the combat is one of the best in the genre.

I chose hard difficulty because I thought it would make the combat harder, but it doesn't, the counter prompts still remain. :/

Why do devs want to hold our hands so much these days? It's insulting.

Any difficulty above hard?

And in previous games you had to react faster in hard in order to counter, the time window was shorter, is it the same here?

Any word on PC performance yet?

Ordinarily I'd wait for a sale on this one but I've got a 30% off voucher at GMG and I'm keen top put my 980ti through its paces.

Anyone know does the Nvidia keys net you pre-order bonuses?

NG+ has no counter prompts, it has always been like this.

I believe both Warner Bro's and Nvidia haven't said anything about this.
There may be a chance that you wont.

I did some research and it turns out you do get the pre-order bonuses :).
If you are not sure, open Steam in console mode (add -console to the shortcut), type licenses_for_app 208650, the sub for the Nvidia promotion key is 56900 which is exact the same as the steam version or retail keys which definitely means you get the bonuses.

Amazing although most reviewers criticized the batmobile but still managed and got good scores.

Can't wait and can't pre-load because I pre-ordered the PC version.
