Persona 5 Trailer 2

Seems A LOT more stylish and light-hearted than P3 or even P4.

Could be fun, but so far I like P3's vibe the most.

Definitely more heavy than P4 but probably the same as P3 considering the possible theme. The footage we see is just kind of light-hearted because it's like the first day of school, lol

Dissapointing that they reused so much scenes from first one.
I mean this super hyped special trailer on Blu-ray added to other game so I expected lot more.

Also I hope there's more female characters than 1.

I thought the same, wish there had been more new footage instead of recycling a third of the original trailer.

Where was Igor's voice?

Shouta's rough translation of the last line in the trailer, "We will meet again... at the moment your destiny has been determined. Hahahaha!" feels like something Igor would say before kicking you out of the velvet room. I could be completely crazy in thinking this, but that's just what it seems to be for me.

That was main protagonist's voice changed a bit. Maybe it's Arsene.

Spoiler?

Blood seems to come from his face when he rips off his own mask (In the scene following when he lands on the enemy and pulls off its mask). I guess that's how he summons.

I'm a bit worried about the protagonist.

I like that display more personally, but hopefully he isn't a gary-stu like P4 MC.

Personally I'm still betting on a September release date (despite all the financial forecasts Sega has put out).

Aaahhh so much hype. Give it to me already. I need a release date for the U.S. This and battlefront will be the only games that will pull me away from Fallout 4

Hm, I like this.

It sounds like an inversion of the old theme where your persona is a mask you put on to deal with the different facets in your life and such. If this is how they summon their personas, they'd be removing the 'mask' - being who they really are. Fits with the whole double life thing the MC has going on.

It's probably the persona. Been awhile but I'm pretty sure the "I am you and you are I" in Japan is used to describe the relationship between persona and user. ware wa nanji, nanji wa ware. etc

Hmm, after playing Persona 3 FES as my first Persona (I'm about 70 hours in), I was in doubt if I was interested in Persona 5, but judging by this trailer I think dungeon crawling, which was my main concern, may end up being a lot more interesting and fun than the drag it was in P3FES.

This should have been in the press conference. Sony, this should have been in the press conference. You fucked up.

Need that release date.

I'm sure Sony would have taken it.
Blame Atlus, they already promised people who preordered P4D that they're the first to see it, so no E3.

I know, a stupid decision.

Yeah, that was localized as "I am thou; thou art I."
