What is Your Favourite Conspiracy Theory?

When conspiracy theories are proven to be true (let's take MKUltra as an example), I have to believe that at least some of the current conspiracy theories are also true, just not proven yet. If you lived in the 50's and someone told you the US government was secretly administering hallucinogenic drugs to unwitting US citizens, would you have laughed it off?
Testing LSD on British Soldiers. With such gems as "the efficiency of the rocket launcher squad was also very impaired."

And my own contribution to this thread: WTC 7.

Can't find the link to the video right now but there's a guy who went around doing a ton of presentations on his experiences with aliens at secret military bases. His stories aren't the usual ones, he talks about full on battles taking place between workers and aliens using all sorts of crazy weaponry. He talks about them so casually, even though people die in the stories. He died a while back leaving people to believe he was murdered by the government. His stories are so fun to listen to because he talks about insane, explosive shit as part of if it was his daily routine.

Ha I remember that one, it was the Dulce base in New Mexico. This shit is gold:

Philip Schneider, an explosive engineer who worked for the U.S. government, with high-level security clearance, claimed that in 1979 he participated in the building of a "secret underground base," in Dulce, New Mexico. It was here that a horrific battle played out leaving 60 humans dead and countless subterranean aliens fighting for their life.

Schneider asserts that he was suspicious of the engineering operation while noticing the presence of Green Berets and Special Forces. His fears were realized when after drilling underground he came face-t0-face with a 7-foot tall, stinky, gray alien. Obviously he freaked out and grabbed a pistol he was carrying (because that's what engineers do?) and shot and killed two aliens. Another alien shot some laser-plasma ball or whatever at him and blew off some of his fingers. He was saved by a Green Beret who allegedly gave his life for him. In all, 60 human-people allegedly lost their lives that day at the "Alien-Human Battle of Dulce."

Oh and here's a helpful infographic of the different levels in the base :lol

Looooool I just read this. I have to echo the Kubrick theory now, it's great.

Anyone remember why Kubrick changed the room number? I recall there being a legitimate reason, just not the specifics.

Found this from a Kubrick interview,

Why did the room number switch from 217 in the novel to 237 in the film?

The exterior of the hotel was filmed at the Timberline Lodge, near Mount Hood, in Oregon. It had a room 217 but no room 237, so the hotel management asked me to change the room number because they were afraid their guests might not want to stay in room 217 after seeing the film.

Hitler surviving WWII is a creepy conspiracy theory. I think it's BS since there's so many first hand accounts from people who handled his dead body.

But still, those accounts are inconsistent and a recent examination of what is claimed to be his skull fragments kept in the Kremlin doubts that they belonged to him or that they even belonged to a male.

Heh in the recent historical photos thread there was this pic that got passed around during WWII of possible "disguises" or alternate looks Hitler might have if he fled or was in hiding somewhere:

I like how the last one sorta looks like Nixon.

I remember reading one where Stalin kept Hitler alive for decades naked in a cage suspended in the air in the basement of the Kremlin or something. By the time he died he went completely feral and had lost various limbs due to gangrene.

hahahaha That was from a novel.

Also I just thought about it... Hitler and Eva's bodies were burned (and presumably recovered) together. Maybe the misidentified remains are Eva's?

Idk, I have too many. The Him Morrison one is great. The weather machine is awesome. The guy who built the water powered car only to disappear is freaky. Mk ultra on Sirhan. Jfk. Fuck it. I'm bookmarking this

I'm with you, OP.

I'm a big fan of Alien Abduction = Demon Abduction.

This "All Roads Lead To Rome" post on abovetopsecret has a nice, original angle on the whole NWO thing, and apparently led to someone breaking into the house of the guy who posted it.

/pol/ on 8chan is, well... pretty nuts. I dunno if I'd even be allowed to post things from there.

Jesus Christ...

Stanley Meyer (1940-1998) - The most famous water car inventor. The American created the 'water fuel cell', claiming that any car fitted with it could run purely on water. A local television station filmed him driving a dune buggy powered by the device.

The British Advanced Energy Institute reported, 'We recently sent a delegation to witness Stan's work, to really evaluate it, and came back saying "this is one of the most important inventions of the century."'

In 1998, Stanley was murdered. He and his brother Stephen met two Belgian men at a restaurant who claimed to be potential investors. After drinking a sip of cranberry juice, Stanley grabbed his neck and ran outside, where he was violently sick. Stephen recalls, "I ran outside and asked him, 'What's wrong?'. He said, 'They poisoned me.' That was his dying declaration."

The following day Stephen tracked down the Belgian men. "I told them that Stan had died and they never said a word, absolutely nothing, no condolences, no questions." A week after his death, the Feds came to Stan's home and confiscated his car and research equipment.

Also from same link:

Herman Anderson (1918-2004) - Herman had an illustrious career as a scientist at NASA testing hydrogen powered rockets. He used this knowledge to create a water-powered vehicle which he believed would transform the world. Herman created a water powered Chevy Cavalier

He was allowed to drive it, but was banned from selling or manufacturing the vehicle in his home State of Tennessee. The official reason was that the car gave off too much radiation. However, hybrid cars (that use both electricity and oil) produce a similar level of radiation and are legal. Go figure.

lol wat. See now this stuff I can kind of believe due to how much money there is in oil and what not, but then again Tesla and hybrids soo I dunno.

In 2008, a Japanese company called Genepax unveiled a water-powered car. They received a patent for the vehicle in Japan and demonstrated it to the press. The car is extremely efficient, able to drive at 50km/h for an hour on a litre of water. It runs on virtually any form of water too, even tea and soda.

I want a car I can just fill up with root beer whenever it's empty :/

The Berenstein bears one is really doing my head in. #somebodyholdme

I thought about making a thread on it last week when I first saw it but after someone I knew told me it was common knowledge it was "stain" I decided against it since I didn't wanna get badly laughed at by GAF.

I guess I thought wrong haha

Edit: Unless of course, people still want me to make the thread for all of GAF to see so we can all solve this mystery together.

A friend of a friend keeps going on and on about how a Jewish syndicate is secretly controlling the whole world and is the cause all wars and economic inequality. Worst part is that in everything else he'd be considered a liberal socialist, so he doesn't exactly fit in with the neo-nazi crowd.

Have you heard of crisis actors, OP? The idea is that the government gets these actors to play the role of innocent bystanders/witnesses on TV whenever a false flag is pulled.

Me too. I remember Berenstein I asked my co workers if they remembered the books and asked them to spell it. They all spelled it Berenstein.

Reptillians. I fucking love the videos where they take one frame of video that has some artifacts and claim it's evidence of their disguise dropping for a second.

You should, I bet that person is in the minority.

I too enjoy conspiracy theories, if only for entertainment. It's a cool piece of fiction presented as fact. I guess it is the "what if" scenario that appeals to me. I'm glad someone else enjoys reading them. I don't buy into them but I just find them interesting to read. I don't mean interesting as in "haha these people are crazy", I mean interesting in the way that a science fiction novel would be interesting. The fact that its always made to sound belieavble adds to the appeal. Like a campfire ghost story.

I think the whole face on mars/sphinx theory is interesting. Basically they say the face on mars is a man/alien made face, similar to that of the sphinx. They also claim there are pyramids near by. Would certainly be interesting if true, though sadly it's clearly just fiction.

That gif is amazing.

Ever since I've been a kid I always had the thought that maybe I'm the only one that actually exists and everyone else is just made up by my consciousness. What's really weird is when you've learned a new word you'd never heard before and all of sudden you're hearing it all the time. Though I suppose it's a lot like when you buy a car and suddenly it seems like every second car is the same as yours. Stupid pattern seeking brain.

Also simulation theory.

Jfk is a biggie but mine is a little deeper than that. There was supposedly some place called the blue room in some army base, where some evidence of aliens might have been kept. This is where things get creepy: a foia request returned the following info: the contents of the blue room were "destroyed" on such and such day and month of 1965 (cant recall exact date). Furthermore, Barry goldwater, the republican presidential candidate in 1964, was friends with a general and inquired as to the contents of the blue room. Quoting from wikipedia: "The subject of UFOs has interested me for some long time. About ten or twelve years ago I made an effort to find out what was in the building at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base where the information has been stored that has been collected by the Air Force, and I was understandably denied this request. It is still classified above Top Secret."[86] Goldwater further wrote that there were rumors the evidence would be released, and that he was "just as anxious to see this material as you are, and I hope we will not have to wait much longer."[86]

The April 25, 1988, issue of The New Yorker carried an interview where Goldwater said he repeatedly asked his friend, Gen. Curtis LeMay, if there was any truth to the rumors that UFO evidence was stored in a secret room at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and if he (Goldwater) might have access to the room. According to Goldwater, an angry LeMay gave him "holy hell" and said, "Not only can't you get into it but don't you ever mention it to me again."

Without a doubt, Religion and there's so many ways to tackle how it's been massively misused on the species.

Other honorable mentions....

Dave Chapelle, apparently was too much for the powers that be (TPTB)
That the jesuits are super secret organization and are responsible for the sinking of the titanic
The Galatic Federation
Century of Self

Snake People

That Michael Jordan Illuminati video that got shared in the space hoax thread is also very enlightening, and I for one feel like everyone needs to be more informed on the sex magic that is in control of our lives and basketba'al.

But how deep does this bear hole go?!

I love looking up illuminati stuff, I just find the concept of some secret cabal of rich people controlling everything that happens in the world interesting.

Or

The one where we already have the cure for every major disease but they are kept secret so companies can make money off of people suffering from said diseases.

bearnstain bears is tripping me the fuck out o_O

LOL

The solution to your theory is in your explanation itself. It was an odd surname that as a child you remembered only by the way it sounded, and recognized because there's no other surname like it. And now as an adult you're just misspelling it by trying to sound it out... as can be evidenced by the fact that you continue the misspelling now with "Bearenstein".

I suppose I just find it odd so many would remember the name incorrectly. I prefer the parallel world theory.
