We have it as "Fall" and are shooting for October. Once the presale is done at the end of August and we know how many we're making, the components of the package (paper goods, OST, holograms, etc) will go into manufacture right away so everything's ready for the UMD when that's done.

So excited to see the OST what a great value I love games that come with or have OSTs in their Limited Editions great job Vic buying as soon as it goes up! :)

Kind of sad that the 6k wasn't reached but I'm really looking forward to playing the game
Don't even have a PSP so all the physical stuff will just be a bonus

Despite not hitting their goal (4000+/6000) they're still doing physical. Pretty cool stuff Gaijinworks.

There is summon night on PSP?????????

i loved the GBA game

All of the Summon Night games that have been released so far in English are actually spin-offs. The main games are Strategy/RPGs (excellent Strategy/RPGs) and were originally released on the PS1 & PS2. Then later, Summon Night 1-2 were remade for the DS & Summon Night 3 & 4 were remade for PSP. Finally, Summon Night 5 (the game that is getting localized) was an all-new game that was originally released for the PSP.

Very, very nice! I wish I could buy more than 1 copy to support Vic's tireless efforts, but with the CDN $ being what it is, I'll have to settle for one.

The end result was just that the price of the physical+digital was bumped up to cover the shortfall, but then the OST was added and all was good in the world, anyway. :)

Yeah, what happened to the Loonie? It was doing so awesome there for a while, and then...

Seriously? What price where you originally hoping for? That is more than a sweet deal well worth the price on it's own if you guys continue to do well , make profit and make ties with companies with these prices and numbers I can imagine you guys sticking around for awhile. I mean of course you will expect more copies from say bigger name games down the road but it's nice to know a "happy medium" was found. Hope you guys continue to include OSTs at the very least too.

my brain exploded

That is one reason these packages are so nice you can still play it with your download code on the more modern hardware without even having to unbox the actual game. I mean i'd still play it regardless but that is pretty awesome on it's own. 2 copies of the game and a poster and OST for $48? How can you go wrong?

is it unlikely that VGP will get the game since it didn't hit 6000?
Also that PS3 game you released last year, was that a physical/digital bundle too? or just physical, as I got that direct from you and don't remember getting a download code but then again cant remember if it was both.

Physical+Digital bundles are only on PSP, since we can make the case that Vita owners need the code to play to get that insanity approved. So, not on PS3 (or PS4) games.

It was in the press release, but most/all places chose to leave it out for whatever reason. Here's the paragraph from the press release:

"The game’s music was written, arranged and performed by Pure Sound, Inc., a team of Japanese musicians who have contributed to the soundtracks of previous Summon Night games as well as Yggdra Union, Riviera: The Promised Land and several games in the Pokémon series."

Where can this be pre-ordered, when the time comes?

Everyone who signed up (or signs up, we left it open on the main page) for the poll will get an email telling them when the presale goes live next week. There will also be a link on the front page of gaijinworks.com. The presale will be open until the next full moon, about a month.

The time has come to strike and secure your copy!

You're receiving this notice because you signed up for our Summon Night 5 LE PSP poll and indicated you wanted to purchase one or more copies of the presale-only physical+digital LE edition.

We wanted to let you know that presales of the game will be live on www.gaijinworks.com starting today at 5:30PM PST and will remain open until the next full moon (at the end of August). After this period closes, we will gently and lovingly manufacture only enough product to cover the amount ordered, and then the game will only be available digitally on PSN until our contract runs out, or the apocalypse/rapture arrives, whichever comes first. Check the website main page at 5:30PM PST for the order link!

Thanks for your support!
