We have FFXV and World of Final Fantasy covering its future for now (though the former should have been out by now....development hell sure is something :l).

I bet we will hear about FFXVI/FFXVII in 2016/2017 after XV and the VII Remake is out .

Either way, it's a megaton!

It's so easy to assume it's a remaster because frankly XII doesn't need a remake. The visuals are still pretty good thanks to awesome art direction; an HD remaster is all it needs. They're not going to remake that game.

This is a fair point. Run in an emulator, the game looks even more crazy. This is great though for people without a way to play the old version.
