In Hong Kong today there was an Xbox Fan Festival which I have covered in more detail here.

At the event Microsoft mentioned that there are lots of other games and showed the below slide with the pictures of each game. On the slide there is the image for Dark Souls 3 and Microsoft confirmed that all the games on this slide will be out before Chinese new year.

The new year is February 8th, therefore we can ascertain that Dark Souls 3 should release before February 8th 2016.

Does that include The Division, a game due March 6 in the west? That perhaps gives this some doubt for me.

GW2 is slated for Spring 2016 too.

Not sure I buy The Division releasing in China a month before releasing in the west. Perhaps they said MOST of those games - as that would be far more likely.

It does seem weird. AFAIK we haven't heard anything at all really about the BB DLC yet. Kind of expected it around November-ish, but with all the hype riding on DkS3 and no actual announcements, it's hard to tell.

DS2 and Bloodborne both came out in march and they already targeted that timeframe for this game so it seems likely.

I feel like we will get annual release now: DS2=>BB=>DS3=>BB2=>DS4.

As long as the quality is always high, I am fine with it.

Dark Souls 3 has been in development for a pretty long time. Well over 2 years now.
