Yarn Yoshi Amiibo getting a restock in October

The Yoshi Yarn Amiibos are probably the most special, some would even say the only good looking Amiibos. In Europe, they were quickly sold out or resold at outrageous prices. Apparently they are getting a restock though: I just bought the blue one from Amazon for just €20 and preordered the green one for the same price. Meanwhile, the Mega Yarn Yoshi Amiibo is sold out even before its release.

I absolutely dislike Amiibos but once they actually look good, I get them huh

Amiibo are usually really nice in terms of quality. Just not some of the early ones or the new Skylanders
But the restock is good. I have mine pre ordered with the bundle. Hope they restock the Splatoon amiibo in time for the holidays.

Is Yoshis ass still hard, for the NFC stuff?

Are you that is because of the NFC stuff? ;)

The Skylanders Amiibos are of bad quality?

Eh it's still hit and miss. Palutena and the 8-bit marios look awful.

Thought about getting the 8-bit Mario but then I saw it from a different perspective. Ugly.

The 8 bit Marios are great, though. Not sure what your on about there. Some of the more realistically proportioned one are a bit mixed at times (more prone to QC issues) but Dark Pit and ZSS look pretty good.

I'm not the only one who has said it in this thread:

Yep, so goddamn awful. Cool idea but horrible execution. Amiibos as a whole are just too spotty to get them all. Like Morth or now the new Villager lol

I actually have him and I think he looks pretty good. Has a really nice weight to him too.

I love mine as well. Probably my favorite Amiibo (I have 20 currently).

The green Yarn Yoshi looks like it's going to be pretty easy to come by in NA. The bundle has been available on both GameStop and Amazon for awhile now. The Chibi Robo bundle is also still in stock.

Bowser is really bad. When people say that amiibo are happy meal toys that is closer to what they actually mean

At least in comparison to the other bowser amiibo
DK is a bit better, though
Yeah, a bit of a disappointment considering the in-game models look great.

Yarn Yoshis already got a restock and are available in Germany. Just FYI.

Oh you are right. May order on Saturn.de then. Most other retailers still seem to have high prices though.

Yarn Amiibo prices here in Sweden are kinda crazy altogether, so I don't even consider buying them locally...

Talking about restocks in EU and the US hasn't even gotten the first batch lol. Yeah, I know the game is already out in Europe.

Yeah, just ordered the blue one from amazon.de last week for my gf. Love the yarn yoshi amiibos. Cute as hell.

Didn't EU had a problem with a missing/stolen batch? Apparently that was the reason so few made it and were sold out.

I own an 8-bit Mario and I think he looks totally fine. *shrug*

The majority of amiibos look fine and a few (Splatoon boy/girl) look way better than they have any right to.

I don't own a yarn yoshi yet because Woolly World isn't in the US yet but I haven't heard any complaints.

I have a japanese Pink Yarn Yoshi, and he is completely daggum adorable. All the colours of Yarn Yoshi are readily available on amazon for $20-$30, as long as you don't care what region the box is from.

Amazon has them from third party sellers for like 20-25$ for those of us in the US. I didn't know Walmart is accepting preorders, I need to go now.

On topic... I've seen all the colors at the stores near where I live, the giant ones have been hit or miss. Although the toysrus I went to had EIGHT mega yarn yoshis.

Off topic... 6 month gap revival of the thread >.>;

Blast from the past! Glad we got world of Nintendo, 8 bit figures. Much better looking than the amiibo ones.
