Alright NeoGAF, I've seen you super sleuths solve some insane ARGs, and currently no one seems to be looking into the new Frog Fractions 2 ARG that just launched recently, so how about we change that?

FROG FRACTIONS 2 ARG

What we know:

The Mystery - Frog Fractions 2 was a game that was Kickstarted, but is supposed to be released under a different name and not resemble the original game at all. Kickstarter backers will not get codes or information till it is known publicly what exactly Frog Fractions 2 is. Basically any game on Windows could be Frog Fractions 2.

Estimated Release Date - Was estimated to be released this month.

Previous ARG discussion, with a whole hell of a lot more of confusing ARG elements from before the below can be found here.

The video update - Just a few days ago the Kickstarter was updated with a video about a supposed brewery.

A Website - In the video multiple stutters are edited in, and if you put the words after the stutters together you get the URL http://decaytruth.info/ which at first glance appears to be a really shitty website for the brewery.

The site has a few sections including hours and location:

Daily 9 Am to 9:00 Pm

A login - On the privacy policy page there is a tiny pi symbol on the bottom right that takes you to an admin login page.

Was able to login with username: admin password: admin and edit the pages, but looks like that has been fixed?

I have a sneaking suspicion that whatever is behind that login IS Frog Fractions 2! Detective GAF, can you dig it?

Edit: How on Earth did I type the name of the game wrong so many times like an idiot? Or was that all part of the ARG? Am I in on it? Is autocorrect in on it? Am I a lizard person? Can some magical admin fix my title?

I'm not sure the ARG is going to reveal the game, unless that game is already out, would spoil part of the point of it.

Well, I took a look at Google Maps for that location; it looks like it does exist. The street view has a family apparently putting shopping into a car, but I'm not sure you should read too much into that; unless Twinbeard's playing the long (very long) game, it's too old to be relevant. I guess the next step is for someone local to go have a look-see. Which I'm mildly surprised hasn't happened yet!

I was able to login, but now I can't. Looks like it may have been "fixed" already. Well hmmmm...maybe the login is really just for admin's easy access because bookmarks are too hard?

It was there; I saw it. And now it's gone. Curious. It was also on the privacy policy page when I had that up, but it's gone from there, too. And now I can't find the Pi symbol that was mentioned.

Are these pages changing periodically?

Edit: oh, wait. Admin access loophole makes sense. Of course, this being Frog Fractions 2, I also get heavily suspicious of anything that makes sense.

login doesn't seem to be taking admin anymore. Tried on different browsers / IP.

Perhaps that was an honest mistake? But now this just makes me think there is more to the website than meets the eye. Maybe a specific login will route you to a different page?

that hot dog site is hosted on a different server as the other sites HOWEVER twinbeard uploaded these train podcasts onto youtube merely days ago


and GAF is slow as hell right now.

He's been putting them on youtube since May. There's some kind of code of lines appearing on the screen (or just the thumbnails, not sure) but I don't think anyone has worked out how they fit together yet.

Yeah, SPL-T is a very weird game when you consider the kind of stuff Simogo usually make. The fact it was just dropped without any teaser too..... I'm not sure if its FF2 related, but there's definitely something suspicious going on with that game.

I've just been reading about it on toucharcade where they think it could be hiding something bigger and their forums have discovered some of the secrets. Not convinced it's related to FF2 either, mostly curious why it's listed as an 'assignment' in that screenshot above.
And does the game really have a picture of a frog in it?
