I object to the description of my Drawful drawings as being "awful". Those puppies are solid gold.

Looks fun, but it also seems way more complicated than Drawful. Part of the appeal of the Party Pack to me has been introducing friends to these games without much instruction. This feels like it'd take a game or two to fully grasp the mechanics, and how to play the metagame (bidding up your own items, bluffing on knowing the answer, etc).

Yeah this seems a bit hardcore. Probably better for repeat playthroughs with friends who know the score, but a little harder to bust out with newbies.

Drawful was already basically perfect. I don't see why they had to replace it with a new game.
I would have preferred it if they kept Drawful instead of Fibbage.

I think this might be part of the premise: if you haven't exhausted Party Pack, simply play Party Pack. If you do and you want more in the same spirit and you're a little more experienced, get Party Pack 2. It's not normally the way annualized games are done, but there's nothing intrinsically wrong with that approach, right?

Nah, Fibbage is inherently funnier. Drawful's comedy usually comes from how bad the drawings are thanks to no erase or undo. Fibbage has so many potential jokes.
Some players get sent clues as to how valuable a piece of art is on their phones, hidden from the others.
But mostly, it's a guessing, and sometimes also bluffing, game.

Will check it out. My friends and I have been playing Quiplash the past few weeks and, with the right group, that game is a fucking riot.

yeah idk, drawful's metagame of trying to figure out what other players would or wouldn't write resonates with me more than bluffing knowledge of each subject's value. i'm sure it'll be fun, but idk, drawful just felt like it nailed that idea.
then again, it's not like i can't just go back and play drawful, so i definitely welcome them trying to shake up the pack's drawing game. i'll give it a shot for sure.

It'd be nice to have an OT or something covering every Jackbox game, so we could schedule playtime's and the like.
I find myself jumping into random games of Quiplash when my friends ain't up to playing, but it's not as fun.

Probably just trying to put some new ideas in instead of rehashing the same games, Drawful is still available and still fantastic. I'm happy to see a lot of new ideas in the second pack, instead of just the sequel to everything from the original.
Plus we all know Earwax will be the Wordspud of the pack.
