I love the setting of this.. The only thing that makes me sad is this is Ubisoft, therefore it will have the Ubisoft formula that I absolutely cannot stand anymore. Here's hoping that they change that formula some which would make me want to purchase it.

Maybe Publishers are learning that their early reveals have been detrimental because of graphical downgrades, broken promises, etc...

It's really uncharacteristic of Ubisoft. Compare to their other upcoming releases, where R6 Siege was announced a year and a half ago, AC Syndicate was shown at the beginning of this year, and I don't even know how long ago The Division was announced at this point.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, because god knows the preview/hype cycle has gotten way too long at this point, it's just surprising.

Why did they wait so long to announce it?

It's the right move. 4 months is a perfect amount of time to demonstrate your game without it getting incredibly boring and old news. Watch Dogs, Destiny and Evolve all had this problem. Too much marketing time, I was sick of all of them before I even bought the games.

It helps with spoilers as well. Don't want to give away too much. Fallout is a much bigger name, but it's announce to release is sub-5 months.

and you're probably joking but they will be in the game. they were even in AC: Chronicles, and that's a 2D game where 95% of it is just you moving right.

Looks interesting. One of my favorite things about FC4 was using the bow as my primary weapon. Added a bit of a challenge and getting a long kill was a great feeling.
