Not exactly vanilla. Ultimate Lighting Mod with some tweaks, some .ini changes for shadows using the GeForce guide, pretty much everything on Ultra minus some post-processing (Vignette, CA and Bloom) and ReShade for a vignette of a different shape (really wish the 1.00 build had the old HeliosDoubleSix Vignette) and Skyrim Tonemapping. Ultimate Lighting Mod settings look like this. I'm also using ReShade for SMAA, Film Grain and Gauss Blur (and Ring DOF for screenshots), though those are probably easily overlooked. I can paste those, too if anyone insists though.

Results are still pretty hit and miss because there aren't a ton of dynamic lights in most scenes, and the Skyrim tonemapping makes things look a bit overblown here and there (looks better without it and with the Bloom enabled in a lot of cases to be honest).

Also this silly small detail mod with the less white beard option.
Thanks for the detailed info. Is it possible to get playable framerates with those settings?
Will try anyway, but just out of curiosity.

Brerlappin pics convinced me to finally start the sequel.

Glad to help :D
Although personally i hated DS2. And i have attempted DS3 multiple times, but every time i see how riddled with microtransactions it is i get disgusted. Its why i started playing DS1 last week. I loved how pretty DS3 is, but i just couldnt bring myself to play it after a few chapters, fortunately reshade was able to spruce up the pretty bland looking DS1 and i dived into that instead!

I didn't find The Ultimate Lighting mod to reduce performance and since ReShade DoF isn't something you'd use when actually playing the game, those don't add up to a loss in performance. Tweaked game settings are a different story. Hair Works preset set to high plus HW AA cranked up to 8x brings performance down quite a bit, and the Shadow settings add up to a pretty significant loss in performance. The Gaussian Blur on ReShade also affects the performance to some degree, even with the quality of that set to the lowest possible value. In short, it's not terrific on my rig at my native res (3440x1440) and any downsampling is out of the question unless I want to see my PC burst in flames (A single GTX 980, i7-4790K Stock, 16GB RAM). As such I elected to play through Hearts of Stone with the default Ultra graphics preset plus Super Turbo Lighting Mod and Hair Works set to low with 4x AA. Those settings proved smooth enough (mid 40s to 60 FPS), and the game still looked stunning in motion.

If you were running the same hardware with lower res (even 2560x1440), I could see the framerate being closer to playable even with the most of the tweaks and ReShade.

Insane really. If you could make more I would love it.

Thanks. I'll be checking out NG+, so I'll probably post some here if anything comes of it.

Gotta say that looks really impressive..

Flawless set of pics. All 6 of 'em. Love the composition.

Deus Ex Human Revolution Director's cut/I'm done fart-arsing around with Reshade

A few quick snaps of what it looks like in some night scenes and some comparisons if anyone gives a shit.

I didn't like the original much at all.

Aye. A few textures have been missed but the mod replaces almost everything with lore-friendly versions. You do get some textures that deviate from the what the game originally showed, but I think it's for the best.

Ok. How much VRAM does maximum usually take up at 1080p? I'm running on a 2GB card so I might just do "large" to be safe.

One thing i hate about this game, well, lots of things i hated about it, but one thing i just cant get over visually, look at those fucking SHOULDERS. Each shoulder is like 4 feet long. Did they augment those too??
I recon you didn't grow up in the '80-ies? ;)

I attribute it to the model work by Eidos Montreal. You can see it on many of the characters that they have a very small head and a huge torso in comparison. Something clearly went wron when having to merge the assets with miscommunication or something. From a technical standpoint, Deus Ex: HR never seemed AAA or polished, thanks to its muddy textures, extremely shitty animations, and this model work we are talking about.

LOL. I was thinking that too the other day while taking a screenshot..looks like they augmented him with the Joan Collins look from Dynasty. I think in that shot it's accentuated even more because he's near the edge of the screen and sadly there's no FOV fix.

I think part of the problem is that it went through development hell for a long time...so yeah it's one of the few games that definitely looks prettier in stills than in motion.

How? What sorcery is this? I've been playing SWTOR for the past few months and while it looks pretty good it doesn't look like THIS. To ber fair I haven't played the new content yet but I doubt Bioware could've improved the graphics that much. I'm assuming ReShade? Care to share you secret?

No secret, just cutscenes at 4K and vanilla SW:TOR. No Reshade or SweetFX :)
Some character models look pretty good, others not so much (I'm looking at you Lana).
The main antagonist and the new companion Koth look really nice.

And the cutscenes in this expansion are much better.
There are still some shitty lower res textures all over the place though.

Deus EX Human Revolution. Director's cut. Reshade.

Some randoms. I think in some areas the textures look good and suit the overall clean look of the game. I've enabled DX11 but I don't know if there's a noticeable difference from DX9. One thing you can't fault about the game is the soundtrack..it's magic.

AC3 - this game still looks amazing and, in some ways, more consistent than Unity due to less aggressive LODs (1440p, maxed out):
