Spoken with jshackles and from the start of 2016 I'll be back making the Steam Threads.onwards.

Steam Holiday Sale threads are usually run by SalsaShark but I think JaseC did the last one if I recall, I don't mind if either keep taking charge one that.

The 16x PCI-E slot didn't work. He could get the vid card working in the slower slots but not the main one. It could have been because he was really rough with it and fucked up the slot, he pulled it out with the clip still on and the clip thing flew off. He snapped the clip back in, but the might have physically broke the slot.

Found that I have this unused key For Massive Chalice. Its for GoG, not steam.

There's no way they will accept that for RMA, obvious physical damage which could only be caused by the end user.

I've been building pcs since the late 1980s and I can't mock him. I have easily done my share of costly mistakes. Pre internet days there were no videos to help you do anything and you have the hope that the company you bought from in that months Computer Shopper wasn't some fly by night company.
Those donations on his page are for 2015? Or for the life of his channel? I'm guessing it's the latter, which spread over several years is minimal.

You can mock him given he refused to read the instructions that came with his hardware or use any resource other than the twitch chat. Not smart at all.

Thanks again for the opportunity to serve. Of course I'll still be around in 2016, but I'm getting ready to ramp up production on a game I'm developing and the timing works out great for both MRORANGE and myself.
It's like a 400 dollar enthusiast mobo.
You can see donations and subs as they come in, they pop up on the screen. He was getting a couple bucks here and there every 20 minutes or so. It wasn't a lot.

I'm going to take this chance to announce that starting February 2016 I will be making all future Steam threads. I haven't spoken to anyone about this and I don't plan to. Keep an eye out for a new era of Steam threads with integrated community functionality and an all new e-sports hub with interactive anime discussing abilities.
Despite his new style putting a new twist on him, I would have preferred Necro if we're going with this fighting style. Every character since Ken has been anti-hype for me. Luckily despite them coming back they all play a lot different, so they have that going for them. Still... it would have been nice to get one character I liked.
One of my fav all time threads was when someone jumped the gun on a Battlefield or Call of Duty thread and created an OP where the content was simply "dis gon be gud"

Alien Isolation is 27$CND, the Alien Isolation Collection is 32$CND. The Alien Isolation season pass is included for 5$ morein the Collection bundle, on its own it's 32$. Anno 2070 is 14$, the complete edition is 20$, all of the DLC sold seperately is 42$ and it still has it's horrendous DRM with 3 installs? Makes sense.

Oh, I'm entertained. But let's be honest, there's a gulf between watching Neil deGrasse Tyson and Jessica Simpson. This guy building a PC is a "Jessica Simpson" streamer. He's entertaining, but objectively dumb.

They are not. " For Beta Testing" is the default. Rarely some devs do indeed rename it to something else, but the majority of the time they are aren't.
I was at a dinner party last week with one of my girlfriend's co-worker's family and the entire night his two kids (ages 5 and 9) each watched Minecraft streams. I'd never actually seen that phenomenon in person.
IF screwed up when they sent the initial copies for review. They sent regular retail keys instead of pre-release keys. They then realized the mistake and sent the correct keys, and said that you could use the extra key for promotional purposes if you wanted. I'm guessing he has a friend that does reviews and got an extra key.

Yeah of course, but it's not like it's immoral to make money with low effort entertainment (or to pay for it). People are really angry at streamers making money for some reason.
Yeah it seems a huge part of the audience is kids and teens. But I definitely watch a good amount of streams myself, mostly speedruns though.

It's because the majority of the people on Gaf think they do exactly the same thing as the successful streamers just as well and are angry they aren't getting paid to do it.
