was going for Viggo's character from the shitty post-apocalyptic movie: The Road... Hard to do Viggo with the current eyebrow selection. (should have a no-eyebrows option) also i wish we could separate facial and hair colors.

Forgive the poor IQ, I haven't toyed around with my settings much at all. Tried to base it off of Yusuf Gatewood, though I'm terrible at these character creation things and had to stop fiddling with it as I was getting nowhere lol

Hey guys, I just started playing on PC. Is there any way to get sliders to appear for character creation?

I'm trying to make Mal Reynolds (Nathan Fillion) and I feel like I sort of got the groundwork done, but I'm still off. Anyone who's spent some extra time with the tools care to give me some help?

I feel like maybe I just can't get some of his facial features, like nose and facial shape completely right with these tools.

Nose is the hardest thing to shape with this tool. So I'd choose a default prototype (of 12 men) with a nose closest to what you want to achieve even if the other features are different. The other elements, especially jaw you can tinker with easier later.

Man, the premade faces are so good I didn't end up changing it much. Originally I was going to try for Jimmy Stewart ala It's a Wonderful Life but quickly found I didn't have the patience. Ended up looking a bit like Bing Crosby.

I think I've got about as close as I can with the nose tools. The face is a little bit too thin, but I can't make it any more round really. I think I'm just going to stick with this. Wasteland Mal with scruff and Ronin haircut because Ronin.

I feel like Bethesda should implement a pawn system like in Dragons Dogma. Making your own custom companion whether it be a robot, human or a ghoul would have been nice. I was kind of upset when "early game vault spoilers"
the wife died
, since it would have been nice to have a husband/wife duo in the wasteland.

I actually "role played" him a bit, he had a better haircut, clean shaven, and a tan before I went into the Vault, then I made him a bit grittier before I exited.

Aaaand how did I not see that there was nose and eye types? I've been cooking dinner and jumping back on occasionally to do little bits, this will help immensely.

Maybe I missed some options, but there really didn't seem to be much customization. I don't remember seeing eyebrow selection, or hair colour, or whatever. Sculpt, face type, body type, colour... give or take another option or three that's all I remember. I just gave up and went with one of the standard faces.

You missed a bunch of stuff

Apologies for the dark picture.

I believe this is Face 09 for female with some minor adjustments (mainly just a little eye shadow and eye liner pretty much, and a touch of blush).

Because the menu is a bit all over the place, sometimes it's easy to miss that the item next to tweak is actually the sets of (whatever) you can pick as a starting point. And sometimes it's hard to pinpoint where you have to click on the face area to get the options. For hair style and color, for example, you have to click a little bit higher on a woman's head than you do for man's head.

Bethesda finally learned how to make decent characters.

Hopefully now there will be less garbage "beauty" mods skulking around that look like they were done by adolescents

Spent 7 hours in the wasteland with Seth Rollins today.

Got tired of the ponytail look my Wanderer was sporting for the first ten levels:

Also, where are you guys finding the funky glasses at? All I've found in ten hours is a pair of wraparound goggles.
