I agree. I don't think it is as much a slight against the system as it is a reminder of how far they have come. The XBO now is a remarkable platform, and I can't wait to see where BC and the system as a whole is six months from now. I still can't believe we have BC, let alone BC that works with both digital and disc as well as supporting DLC.

I've only tries a few games. My experiences:

- South Park: Runs flawlessly
- Dirt 3: Some people said it would run fine. This is my experience: http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Gaschman/video/12698282
- Castle Crashers: Perfect
- Pinball FX: I didn't notice any differences compared to the 360 version
- CoJ Gunslinger: Terrible framerate, input delay
- Banjo Kazooie: Perfect
- Banjo Tooie: Perfect
- Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts: Framerate worse compared to 360 version
- Battleblock Theater: Perfect
- Super Meat Boy Perfect

Also: Lode Runner doesn't show up in my ready to install list.

Played fallout 3 today and it ran perfectly. Cannot wait to see my 360 library make its way over to the xbox one.

Side note, does anybody think skyrim will get BC or are they gunna re-release it on us? i heard they already ported it to the xbox for work on fallout 4. Personally i would just prefer BC but if they could re release it with some kind of multiplayer (even if it was just like a basic 2 player co-op in the world of one of those people) i would be down like a clown

The fact the publishers have the final say in Xbox360 games running on One is shitty. I paid for it once you greedy publisher and i don't care about your shitty incoming remake.

OK so I just got home and popped condemned in and nothing happens then about ten minutes go's by I get a message that says eject the disc try again make sure you're using an Xbox one game a music cd or movie on blue ray (0x80820002)

Is my disc fucked or what? Should it auto start downloading it?

The disc is in really great shape BTW

Asked in the other tthread since we have an ot I thought I'd paste it here I did mess around and put crackdown 1 and 2 in and it almost immediately told me the disc was not supported and to check the current bc list so I'm thinking it is the disc

Also tried sonic 1 and 2 it has a lot of input lag which for a game like sonic is bad

Mm, Crackdown 1 and 2 actually aren't on the BC list right now though, so that would explain that. Condemned is, so it shouuuuld work?

Likely the disc. I popped fallout 3 in and it took a solid 3-8 seconds before it read anything and before i saw the fallout logo i was being told to download a 6 gig update. Makes sense that you got the pop up for crackdown becuase its actually reading the disc just not able to do anything with it atm. Seems like it just gave up after 20s on condemned and gave you a generic "are you sure this is a disc" msg :p just try cleaning the disc and givin it a few goes, if you can get it to read roughly you should be fine after the download.

I know there not apart of it yet I'm just saying it immediately rejected the disc but condemned takes like 10 mins and tell me to check my disc two different messages Imma just take it back to gamestop and switch it out hopefully I have better results Tom

BTW Guys I'm having problems with some of the games not appearing for example Gears 2 and 3 are not appearing, anyone else with this kind of problems?

The DLC certainly downloaded and installed alongside my gears 3 no bother, just like a regular xbox one game. Only had time to try a bit of act 1 in regular campaign last night before I went to bed though so I haven't actually tested the dlc. Raam's shadow was there as an opinion though so I assume yes.

I bought Gears of War Ultimate Edition but only Judgement is appearing :( , what can I do? also I do own the digital version of Gears 3 and is not showing up.

Tried out Dirt 3, and it runs very well. Got some more downloading and looking forward to seeing how they fare.

Rainbow Six Vegas 1 has some bad framerate drops that I experienced while playing a bit of Terrorist Hunt. Not sure if it was like that on 360, but I don't remember it being that bad.

ACII is a welcome addition to my collection, I guess.

Joyride Turbo framerate runs significantly worse on Xbox One and the smoke effects are all pixelated. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Great OT title. Not many titles available yet that I am interested in playing/replaying on the current list outside the the Rare Replay games but the fact it works all is amazing, and I have hopes for the future. Hoping MS bundles certain games like a PGR3+4 bundle, or buy Crackdown digitally for Xbone and get the two 360 versions as a bonus (similar to GoW remaster). Bring the prices down or have some great sales on compatible titles and I'm sure it will be worth their while.

Hm.... Starting a BC game, the 360 interface always tells me, that it disconnected from Xbox Live and I can't connect to my profile. What to do?

One thing I've complained about previously is that the presentation of digital content on the 360 is that it's quite hard to keep track of the games that you own if they're not downloaded, something that I'm quite pleased is not an issue on the One.

It does mean that after installing the update, I was greeted with this:

Apparently load times and texture load times are improved but nothing else really, the games should look exactly as they did on 360. The Xbox One has a superior scaler than the 360 but I haven't really noticed much difference in TV picture quality.

Fallout 3 via Backwards Compatibility. (It runs perfectly by the way, all the DLC installed, and my save game from 7 years ago was there).

Gears: Judgement won't start for me. get a message saying "Just getting your game ready!", it doesn't start, then an error code message. Any solutions?

Reboot. Hold down power button for ten secs.

Tried 2 levels. 60fps. No drops, perfect as far as i can tell

Tried Banjo nuts & bolts, runs way better now. Still worse than 360 but quite playable now at least

Waiting on Alan Wake and Mass Effect 3. I will buy all ME expansions and happily replay 3. EA you hear that, i'll give you money for BC.
