or is it just an ad telling us Xbox One is on Xbox One..?
hmmm (I think it's brilliant)..
(lock if old or not thread worthy)..
And it's out now on Xbox One!Wow, that's crazy.
3 nights in Florence for only £199.99?
The review says it's available for XBO, advertise Tomb Raider.
Clever. Hopefully such strategies will make them rethink such stupid exclusivities. Making deals to get exclusive content/features is ok (although I'd prefer they didn't), but forbidding companies to advertise a product available on their platform is silly.
Selling ads to sit within or next to a specific feature is nothing new, but yeah, offering the exact specifics of the page layout is a bit of a loss of integrity on Metro's editorial side.Flawless victoly.
Though it does imply that they had control over the page layout of the review itself and where it was in the paper, which doesn't sit well with me.
Their marketing was focus tested in the future. If MS put this much effort into proper marketing two years ago they wouldn't have to do this sort of stuff today.

I don't know if MS have a deal with GAME or not, but in my local shop all the Xbox stock is right at the front, especially with all the Fallout 4 or Star Wars Battlefront logos/advertising.
You know MS were pretty much kings of marketing exclusivity last gen, right?
I'd be very surprised if the merchandising wasn't specifically arranged with deals with MS and Sony at the moment. The UK market is a scrap worth pouring cash into for both of them right now.I don't know if MS have a deal with GAME or not, but in my local shop all the Xbox stock is right at the front, especially with all the Fallout 4 or Star Wars Battlefront logos/advertising.
HATE NEWSPAPERS
I always fold the newspaper when reading, so I wouldn't get it.
It's been really interesting to see how Microsoft reacts when their own favorite tactics are used against them.
It certainly hilarious, but not in a good way.
Lol, not bad. But I sincerely doubt most people flipping through that newspaper would get what it's all about. You'd have to know about the marketing deal to really understand it.
