Thanks! Nattydread's right, the in-game bloom is too strong so I'm using the one in reshade. I made a preset for this last night but added your vibrance settings to desaturate it a little and I think it looks good. Almost looks like like Witcher 3 in some places. Mind you I used the Witcher 2 .ini tweaker over at Nexus mods to go above ultra settings for draw distance, foliage and shadows etc. to get it looking like this and added some HBAO through Reshade. The end result is that it wasn't playable in 5k so I may have to drop the resolution to 1440p but it makes for some nice screens. And I wish I could get Jim's CT to work with the 32bit GOG version.

Abload.de (left), Imgur (right). Imgur appears desaturated and to be crushing the black levels with a custom curve.

If this isn't just my monitor or a color profile issue I'll have to stop using Imgur completely from now on for anything. I'll probably have to do some further tests.

Here's the difference image between the two. The closer to black a pizel is, the closer to identical they are.

I can only think one is coming and they didn't want to trivialize the franchise with a tacked on campaign. I'd think a single player game would have to be handled very carefully and may cost a lot of money.

1. Long method is to click download > view all sizes > click original > when image loads right-click "copy image URL" > paste that in image quotes here.

2. Quick method is to use alo81's "OG Flickr" extension for Chrome.

Maybe when Firefox is getting towards 1GB of memory usage. I still have 32-bit Firefox since as far as I know, 64-bit support remains unofficial/experimental. I don't know if there's a coincidence or not.

In its final stages, entire windows and tabs of Firefox start going black, and restarting it fixes everything of course.

Well I wouldn't say I'm "back." I had a baby 2 months ago so any time I get for gaming, I like to spend it actually gaming. No time for screenshots

So to answer my question - yes, they still think that it's a good idea to force FXAA down our throats when we want to use MSAA. Which kinda explains why most ACS screenshots I've seen looks like a blur fest. And TXAA is even worse in this one.

Just tried this one http://ps2wide.net/pc.html, seems to work fine with the steam version, aside from that the fmv shows a blackscreen (with and without the patch) and the x360 controller support seems better than defiance (detects the triggers).

It's more likely how the browsers are rendering the color profiles (or lack of, if one host is removing it) of the images on monitors that can view the extended color gamut, rather than a difference visible in Photoshop via changing the blend mode.

Unless someone else with an wide gamut IPS monitor can't reproduce it I think that's my conclusion.

Probably browser cm related, EIZO CG222W here, pictures look the same using firefox (I think I forced color management years ago though and the latest versions should have that from the start) I thought that specific problem was Adobe RGB related tbh.
