Couldn't see the lack of jaggies on my phone, just saw the resolution was right. With 3DS screenshots, just add jagged edges if they're not there - except maybe for Revelations because the anti-aliasing is that good. But the rest (models, textures, resolution) is the same. It's not a low-effort game. Even Nintendo games have aliasing, so it's not a mark of low production values.

Street Fighter V will be getting some interesting promotions in Japan, first one is with a sumo company or whatever.
All the others are with Scalp D which is a company that makes products for hair growth/prevent hair loss.

On a side note, Nintendo is selling stand alone GamePads in Japan, through their store only, they make it clear, not anywhere else.

Quick recap, no more than one gamepads can be connected to a system at the same time and the controller is not compatible with the original Wii.
The most interesting aspect of all is that price, 13.824 yen (including taxes) that's close to $115 dollars and almost half of the price of the cheapest SKU.
So yeah, if there was any doubt, what inflates the price of the WiiU so much is the controller.
Japan is probably one of the countries with more national holidays. But on the other side, they work overtime the rest of the days of the year, and long holidays aren't frequent, being golden week and new year's eve the longest ones (and that's just a week).
Btw, from November 23rd national holiday, is when Christmas shopping season starts.

im guessing theey are starting to sell the wii u controller separate for backwards compatibility on the nx because the nx wont have the touch screen controller, but thats just my guess
No. The reason is Splatoon + people breaking their gamepads playing Splatoon. Splatoon is serious shit.

This is pretty much better than any year during last gen and several years during PS2's era as well. If they were to sell 3 million next year, that would be a pretty amazing result but even that's doubtful. :\

Are you talking specifically about Sony platforms? Because DS and 3DS had pretty amazing years in terms of sales sw-wise.
If console could pull off handheld sales since japan slowly crept up to the mobile market and devoured it, I would faint.
