Nice for Star Wars; nice for Atelier (although not quite as high as I expected); oddly high for Omega Labyrinth.

Lol, Animal Crossing. Grand Kingdom a disaster too, not even showing up on PS4 [edit: Nvm, 4k on Famitsu]

Sumikko Gurashi certainly not 3 x over the previous entry!

What caused 3DS bump? Holiday?

Before people panic about a Pokémon game launching "so low"

Pokémon Rumble World is a retail release of a game that has been free to play on the Nintendo eShop since April. This version just gives you the maximum purchasable amount of the in-game currency, PokéDiamonds, straight off the bat and gives you all the benefits within.

It's also the 4th highest grossing eShop exclusive thing Nintendo has, behind only Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8 DLC

Animal bombing. 13k for nintendo biggest release this holiday is absurd... But i guess it deserved that sales. Hope that, without competition, Taiko shines more.

The PS4 has found a nice baseline with all the medium sized games that's coming out at the moment. Looking good for next year.

Solid success for Omega Labyrinth, considering the kind of budget D3 works with. And it sold more than an Animal Crossing.

I'm happy with Animal Crossing Cash Fest (lack of) performance. I hope it will be the same everywhere (it was already the case for UK too). Amiibo shouldn't be an excuse for a very poor game.

The name is what got me. It's like the Oreimo Cute Little Sister and the Harem Paradise, Yandera Hell thing. They sure are creative with their titles in Japan.

Best part of the title of that game is the subtitle - "Summer holiday with you". It was supposed to be released in summer but was delayed to November, ha ha.

If it's anything like Utawarerumono / Yoru no Nai Kuni, it'll open higher on PS4 and have weaker legs, so LTD sales will be similar between the two.

Either way, I don't think IP's like these can afford to give up their Vita SKU any time soon.

Pretty excellent for Star Wars; suspect the third person stuff would have helped saleswise here. Everything else pretty awful - except you know, Splatoon.

Doubtful, so they're not getting the double dippers.

Normally the plus versions open around 10k+ (Ayesha was ~ 11k; Escha was ~ 16k iirc) so they're probably a little bit up over the double-dipping strategy from previous games.

So PS4 version shipped higher but Vita version sold more. It will definitely sell more in LTD. I don't think it is a bad port on Vita like Yoru No Kuni game.
