I found it slow going for the first 3 worlds as a single-player game, but there are still some great levels in there. It becomes great partway into the fourth world.

It's no Galaxy or 64, but it's better than Sunshine. If you like 3D Mario, you'll enjoy it.
It's certainly better than Super Mario 64 from today's perspective (if you take off your nostalgia goggles, that is)

Debatable. Sure, mechanically it's better, if only due to decades of advances in the genre, but 64 has a greater scope, scale and ambition to it IMO, that just sets it apart as a grander game and overall better experience.

Since we had Mario and now DK as mascots of the days so far, is anyone willing to guess which characters will get one afterwards? Link seems to be a given, but beyond that, the count of "eligible" Wii U games gets pretty low! Maybe Nintendo will go crazy and feature Sonic or Miis, maybe they'll discount recentish titles, maybe they'll change theme altogether. Or maybe they will just use Luigi to push more Mario games.
They'll outflank me anyway, won't they.

Triforce Heroes is too new and ALBW just recently had a permanent price drop.

I guess the fourth one will be either Kirby (Rainbow Course and Triple Deluxe) or Miis (Wii Sports and Tomodachi Life). Woolly World is too recent to have Yoshi.

Same. Not played it in like a decade and it's still more fun than any other Mario I've ever played, especially the Wii U Mario games.
You take that bad, NSMBU is the best 2d platformer!
Kidding, no point in these arguments but seriously NSMBU turned out great, it should come preinstalled with every Wii U along with Nintendo land to add more value to the console imo.

WiiU shop overloaded took ages to even buy a game and even in 24 hours Wonderfull 101 still not downloaded and there's Pikmin 3 behind that. That's a discount on the 2 big WiiU games I was waiting on.

It's a great game though, my top 3 along with New Mario Bros U & Luigi U.
I used a currency converter, and it said 25 Euro
