Nomura isn't going to make a game like FF XII. And good riddance, what a dull game that was.



Square-Enix want to make a game that'll sell to people who haven't played Final Fantasy VII - or any Final Fantasy before. Otherwise they couldn't justify investing so much money in this. If you want to play the same game you played previously on PS4, you can right now.

That makes no sense, why would you remake a game if you don't even want to target people who liked the original?

Imagine if they hadn't revealed it back at E3 and just dropped the gameplay bomb on us today. It looks fucking great. Can't wait to play it on PC and I hope the exclusivity period isn't that long when it (eventually) releases.
