FFXII-2 is on my next list of VG sequels that I think will never happen but hope it will one day (and no, the DS game isn't FFXII-2). Designed and directed by Hiroyuki Ito would be icing on the cake.

I know we'll get it eventually on PS4, whether its as a HD remaster or a PS2 Classic remains to be seen. At this point it is the only one in the main series I have yet to beat. Arg!

Chances are whatever remake Square was working on was probably halted quick, repurposed, and what we'll see instead is an 'emulated' download with HD updates.

Although I already played it on PCSX, I wouldn't mind delve in again in HD. I have a stronger incentive to play than, say, Wind Waker HD or Twillight Princess HD. Well, that is, if it turns out good on screen. A few tweaks in the gameplay would be aprpeciated too, for the sake of not replaying the exact same thing again only with updated graphics.

Now this is a game that could use a remake. Really fun battle system, but something seemed off about the story. Like it was never finished or was rewritten at the last moment in development. Something happened in development that made the story come off unfocused and weak.
