Uncovered FFXV Event page source hints at PC (maybe boilerplate code) [Up: Removed]

I went through the code of the Uncovered FFXV website (http://www.finalfantasyxv.com/uncovered/) and I've uncovered some interesting bytes in the Javascript file (http://www.finalfantasyxv.com/uncovered/js/main.js) suggesting a PC release is under way.

Additionally there's some commented code hinting at more pages that will get added to the page, including a Trailer, Schedule, FAQ, Livestream, What/About and Travel page. The CSS file also has all the styling info for these pages, the pages themselves just aren't live yet.

EDIT;
Similar code seems to be used on the Rise of The Tomb Raider page (http://buyrottr.com/js/main.js) so they've probably been lazy and just copy pasted that.

EDIT2:
Square updated the file and removed all mentions of a PC version.

After the ATR the other day, I think it's pretty obvious this'll be coming to PC. And just, generally, it'd be dumb if it didn't.

There's not much of a good reason to avoid a PC release for a major game nowadays unless you lack the resources to make the port.

Let's just hope it arrives at the same time.

Not surprising especially with pretty much every mainline FF coming to PC other than XII and X (but that is supposed to be coming soon as well)

I still doubt it comes at the same time the console versions drop.

Was this JS file made specifically for the Uncovered FFXV website or reused from other sites.

I expected this to come to PC eventually, but I wasn't expecting that they will probably be announcing the PC version before the console ones release.

Tabata gave a 5 minute answer about Steam and the PC for Final Fantasy XV at Gamescom where it was pretty evident it was coming, but it sounded like a late port.

I wish renting games was a thing on PC, would have given up consoles were that the case now that all games eventually release on PC. Sony first party has been total shit as well so I wouldn't be missing anything, is there any store which deals with PC game rentals?

Probably Consoles first and PC later, unless they optimized all versions at the same time (which I think is a no?)

I think this is not a surprise, the only question its knowing how much we are going to wait compared to the console release.

Maybe plans have changed? Seems the norm for everything FFXV related. Even core systems change every few months!
