The Point Program is interesting. Platinum seems to get you small goodies and such, while Gold points gets you discounts for downloadable games.

"We will not announce any details about the currently in development game system NX today".

damn. Almost certainly gonna be a March/April press release with nothing but the reveal date and a May/June reveal then.

Ah well, don't lose hope yet. There still may be something from the Q&A in terms of NX.

So my interpretation of this google translation is:

- NNIDs migrate to MyNintendo automatically
- There's Platinum and Gold coins, with gold seemingly being better? You can earn them by going through Nintendo's recommendations (guessing similar to Steam's Discovery Queue), browsing the eShop, or going through certain things in games.
- The game thing isn't available yet for 3DS and Wii U, and might not be, but they can still get coins from eShop.

Thank you, Shocking. Just what I wanted from this meeting.

Also, super glad to get stronger Tomodachi Life vibes from Miitomo. Just look at that screenshot with the cat! The absurdity will save it.

690,000 users participated in the last Japanese Splatfest, the most ever according to the slides (based on accounts participating).
6.2 million SMM courses uploaded.

"And a dedicated game machine business, to expand both the smart device business, will be in the service of Nintendo unique."

Lol, new system called Nintendo Unique confirmed.

Looks like all 16 countries Miitomo will launch in will have early Miitomo registration, via the New My Nintendo account system.

Pre-registration starts on February 17.

The account system was also expanded upon but someone who can read Japanese should translate. I guess it's coming sooner than expected though.

Total amiibo card sales at 21.5m

Sales per region for the fiscal year so far, top is figurines, bottom is cards, blue = 'murica, pink = Japan, green = Europe, paler pink = Australia

This sound excellent.

Haha, seems so. A fittingly Nintendo-like solution.
