Unlike Iowa, delegates are rewarded based on voting percentage. Republicans have a 10% minimum and Democrats a 15% minimum threshold.

The important this is that we dispel this notion that Barack Obama doesn't know what he's doing. He know's exactly what he's doing!

I never even got this, it was such a dumb thing to say. I bet Obama was at home thinking .. well yeah, duh.

Serious answer: It's easier to rally the Republican base against the Liberal menace by trying to paint them as evil conspirators seeking to destroy 'Murica from the inside rather than well meaning incompetents.

He was trying to say that first term senators can be competent at being president since he is a first term senator himself.

Also this.

I want the people at home to think about this. That is what NeoGAF does. The drive by shot at the beginning with incorrect and incomplete information and then the gifs for each candidate that are exactly what his advisers gave him.

I studied Political Science. I'm a fan of the political process. But uggghhh I have to either vote between 6:00a/p-8:00a/p. Gonna charge up the 3DS and take it with me after work, methinks.

Round 2 of the Presidential Primary Death Cycle. Who is eliminated this week?

I'm hoping Rubio goes after that abysmal debate.

At least Trump should get his groove back. And the fight for second should be really fun and fascinating. Glad I took Wednesday off.

Repub media is spinning that Rubio didn't make any mistakes during the debate, wonder what impact it'll have, but so many are echoing his talking point, too.

It feels like basically the Republican party is the titanic and after seeing Cruz and Trump at the top in Iowa for real, now they're desperately trying to steady the ship by taking out the water with little Styrofoam cups.

"oh god Rubio is our best alternative? oh god. Oh fuck... hey, yea, Rubio did great in the debate! No mistakes whatsoever, no sir..."

In a perfect world, without Carson and Trump, would Rubio be the front runner?

Man, the media are gonna love this. Trump/Sanders is a story they love to pull out, and they're both likely to win here.

Only fox, but then he's their guy. check out breitbart for example.

Didn't Fox hammer on the Rubio repetition on Saturday night? Maybe Roger Ailes straightened the ship after ward...

Lol, great gifs. Trump's got this state so I think all that matters is where Rubio lands. I hope he underperforms. Fourth place, please. On the Democratic side, we all know this is Sanders turf. All that's up in the air is Hillary's margin. Should be fun to watch!

I think the establishment was hoping they'd get a Jeb or a Rubio, since they feel they could work with such candidates. Without Trump or Carson, it's hard to know if all those votes would have gone to Cruz or if they would have benefited Rubio. I'm guessing Cruz would win that one, since he's anti-establishment candidates w/ Trump. If Cruz also wasn't in the mix, then yeah I could see Rubio pulling it out: swing state, young and fresh, and of course a member of the Cuban minority. And he says the right things, if he avoids Immigration entirely.

Of course in this world, Rubio's face just got mauled off by Christie. Now it's probably not so good his prospects :p

As a note for the OP, the democratic forecast is using polls only while the republican forecast is using polls plus. You should probably stick to one version or the other. Other than that great OP.

It doesn't matter since both forecasts are the same on the Dem side.

Cruz doesn't have his evangelicals any longer.
Iowa already going for that 0 for 3 on GOP candidates, fading into irrelevance as it very well should.

You're correct, but on the Democratic side, it's 99% chance to win for Bernie on both sides.
