My own personal question. Does AC4 Wii U require UPlay? Because otherwise I might jump on that.

Child of light and Rayman are mine. I've been waiting for legends be super cheap on wii u. Can't seem to get anyone to crowd around the pc for that one.

Buy blacklist dammit. I don't want splinter cell to die.

Aside from level loads, it's a great running port

Thanks for answering this ahead of time; I was gonna ask how Blacklist was on the WiiU. Might as well get it for a third platform. Anything neat with the gamepad?

Is Blackflack worth it? Haven't played an AC since III due to franchise fatigue. HOWEVER, my least favorite part of III was the on sea stuff. $10 is cheap tho. Tips?

Edit: As the poster above is asking, I also want to know about performance.

I have AC4 and I never had to register with Uplay to play it on the Wii U.

Also at that price, everyone who has a wii u and not gotten child of light should get it
Its worth way more than that for the art and music alone...the story though...eh I'll let you decide lol.

Finally!!! Rayman legends om sale for a low price! Wahoo. I'll gladly lick it back up at this price. I sold my physical copy a while ago.

The origins port to 3DS is dreck, tho, right? Origins is the superior game IMO but I don't want to play a bad port.

Rabbids travel any good? I thought it was a supposed to be a decent platformer?

Thanks for the info. Looks like I'm finally going to experience Black Flag then.

Is Splinter Cell Blacklist any good?

Huh, did Watch Dog use the touch screen in a meaningful way? That was one of the ways I was interested in it being on Wii U, but if it doesn't then I wouldn't care.
Still probably wouldn't care but it's the difference between "nope nope nope" and "nope nope nope maybe."

Some good deals here, but nothing really interests me because I either played them on another platform or I'm not into the genre.

Guess I'm finally getting Zombi U.

It's been 10-12 bucks on Amazon since I bought it more than a year ago. Great game, half the tension is caused by the controls and I mean that in a good way.

Woah, this means I'm finally going to buy an Ubisoft game? Simply can't refuse Child of Light at that price.

I have most of the games I would want on this list on other platforms, but ZombiU is a good deal and Rayman Legends is an absolute steal.

Between this, Twilight Princess HD, and the Nintendo Selects, March 2016 will easily be the month I've spent the most money on the eShop since I got my Wii U.

Holy shit that's amazing deals on Rayman Legends & Splinter Cell: Blacklist. I wanted them physical but I might jump on this. Anybody know if you buy digital Wii U games without ample amount of hard drive space is it easy to download later?

Tell me about Rayman 3D/Origins, Gaf.

Origins is a fantastic game and possibly the best sidescrolling platformer on the 3DS; but the tiny res screen will make it kinda hard to play sometimes.

3D is just a by the numbers port of Rayman 2.

I doubt it will even let you buy it if you dont have the space.

Rayman Origins on the 3DS is a piece of crap. Where the original game is responsive, buttery smooth, and DROP DEAD GORGEOUS, the 3DS port is a small blurry mess that runs at half the framerate of the other versions and just feels terrible. Do not buy it at any price, because you only have one opportunity to experience Rayman Origins for the first time.

Rayman 3D is a moderately competent port of the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2: The Great Escape, a 3D platformer originally created for the N64. It's a lot more linear than most platformers of that era—more Mario Galaxy than Mario 64—and a lot of fun.

As far as ports go, Rayman 3D is neither particularly good nor egregiously bad. The music is bizarrely low quality, and the sound effects have a habit of either not playing at all or playing at the wrong time. Frame rate drops are also not uncommon. The stereoscopic 3D, however, is quite good and adds a lot to the game--judging distances and landing jumps is a lot easier with the 3D enabled. I had a lot of fun with it back in 2011 when the 3DS has just launched and there were very few games available, and I'd say that for $7.50, it's worth jumping in.

I did. I bought it at full price when it was new. The WiiU port is terrible. Massive load times, spotty online interactivity, graphically inferior to the ps360 versions of the game.
Aparantly it's optimised poorly as the WiiU didn't support multi core processes when it was made. so it's running on 1/3rd of the power of an already underpowered console
Only game I've ever traded in without having an equivalent replacement in my library.

So glad I didn't impulse buy child of light last night. Wow that's a great saving

Yes it's really easy. Purchases are tied to your console/my Nintendo account. Not sure which. But you can delete and re download whenever you want.

So if I try to purchase it without enough hard drive space would I run into any issues? I'm eventually getting a hard drive but probably not before these deals end.
