I'd argue that sharing on the PS4 is easier than it is on the Xbox One, but the sheer ease of being able to access videos and screenshots via websites suck as xboxclips and xboxdvr etc makes it a lot better. I don't think that this is exactly what this is but it may be a step in the right direction as right now I don't even bother with the activity feed.

Just a rumour from what I've heard. PSN maintenance was meant to take place today (not sure if it did), so people thought it would follow that.

How is xboxclips and xboxdvr etc any different from Youtube, Dailymotion,Twitter,Facebook,Ustream & Twitch? you can go right to the videos that your friends upload by going to their recent activities or you can go to Live from PlayStation & see even more clips & live streams.

I bought two PS4s on launch day and genuinely believed that lack of folders / organisation was such an egregious missing feature that it would be in within 3 months. No big deal, right? Christ was I naive. It'll be 3 years maximum. I'll be playing NX and selling this piece of shit by then.

I use my controller plugged in a lot (since it needs to be charged quite frequently) and have never had problems.

I use my controller plugged in a lot (since it needs to be charged quite frequently) and have never had problems.

The poster means for the controller data to pass through the wire if it's connected over USB. As it stands, if you plug it in, the connection will still be over bluetooth and the wire will only charge it.

As far as I know, none of those games use the touchpad as an actual touchpad, though - it's basically just a giant Select button. If we're going to be playing PS4 games through Remote Play on PC, we're going to need the touchpad to actually work so I'm fairly confident that Sony will be delivering official drivers as well.

He's saying the PS4 still treats the DS4 as a wireless controller, even when plugged in and charging.

On the PS3, if you plug in the DS3, the console treats it as a wired controller (e.g. like how the PS2 controller worked back in the day).

Beta for PS Now in mainland Europe was rolling out as a staggered release. Some people received it already last week, but couldn't access it due to an error. I received my invite today.

Perhaps the Firmware Beta also rolls out staggered, or perhaps a same like bug preventing people from accessing it and therefor postponed?

So why did it happen to me then? Maybe it was a glitch, and not SOP, but I definitely had to go hunting down a game that'd been in my console for a long time recently, because I found it weird that I had to do so.

I still think inserted disc games should be pinned as the first item to the right of the activity feed box, though.

You must have a magic PS4. If a disc game is in the drive, it always reads the disc on boot up, or back from stand by, which pushes it in the front of the list.

Are you inserting the disc before you log into your PS4? I've found that if I put a disc into the PS4 before logging in to the system it won't be at the front after I've signed in.

It is great for those who go on business trips, etc, and have their laptops with them in the hotel rooms. Do not need to bring the PSTV now. Just laptop and controller.
