Doh. Had it confirmed I'll be going back to England for the week. I'll try for the next one - as long as it's not a pricey meet like Robot Restaurant again.

Well, these are the Japan Travel GAF meetups so it'll be mostly touristy things. :p

Tokyo GAF should try setting up some more meetups too.

Hmmm, I don't think I am going to be able to make it as I am flying back the early hours of the 1st... :(
If the date changes I will be there! Heck, I might even swing by for a couple of hours anyway haha.

p.s. I am pretty much traveling alone, so if there is anything else going on that week lemme know!

There's that one arcade with all the old games... I can never find it exactly but I stumble upon it, anyone know what I'm talking about?

Got to "HEY" arcade. Lots if old games, fighting games, and other arcade games. I might be able to go with y'all but it depends on my work schedule.

I think I'd be able to make it assuming work doesn't trail off in to the night, I'm just getting situated at my new job so I'm unsure how the evenings look, and it's my first executive position so I'm probably in for some long days in the coming months...but I can see if I can make sure I'm out the door on time that day!

Count me in!

I am still planning on making it, but I'm going to a Live Viewing screening in Toyosu (curtain is at... 16:00? I think? But I should still make it out to meet you guys, possibly a tiny bit late depending on how lost I get myself on the trains again!

(I've got LINE and Hangouts and stuff on my phone if need be)

Wait what? Surely not the first day, right? I thought that was only the delayed 2nd day or special 4/2 showing... :| I feel like a 6 hour performance 2 days in a row would be a nightmare for the group...

Sneaking in here through the Japan Travel thread...

I'm supposed to arrive in Tokyo on the 31st (around 14:50) so... this might be doable? I've been to a few GAF meetups in Toronto and we actually have another one on the 26th. Going from one GAF meetup in Toronto to another in Japan in (more or less) the same week would be pretty wild.

As I've never travelled before I'm not sure what to expect, so flight delays, customs, travel time in the city, getting tragically lost... lots of variables to consider. But I would absolutely like to attend and will endeavor to be there even if I have to arrive late.

Well, unless your flight is delayed, you get totally lost or you get hit hard by jetlag you should easily make it. I've added you to the maybe list.

Oooh, another newbie traveler :D. I'm in a similar boat to you when it comes to traveling. Though I've done enough research (and picked Mike's brain a lot :p ) that I should be fine but gonna be nerve-racking regardless when we arrive in Tokyo on the 28th.

Good Luck and hope to see you there. Any issues, remember, there is the Japan Travel Thread (or this thread until the meet up is over at least :p ).

And if you need to contact me, then I'm on Twitter and Line with the same username as here (if you're running late and need to know where we're currently at or such). If you need to contact me here on GAF, then write in this thread if possible, because I forget to check my PMs when I'm on mobile :p

I am still planning to be there, God willing. I will post again when I am in Japan.

(Leaving for the airport in just a couple hours here. The sudden realization that I am about to get on a transpacific flight is freaking me out. Pray for my soul.)

I apologise in advance for slowing you guys down at all :p my feet still be wrecked way before the meet up time if the post few days are anything to go by. (On the bright side, it will be my first time in Akiba lol)

Hey, I'm hanging out in Yokosuka at the moment (Shenmue Reppin). Anyway, hopefully joining you guys, but have to shoot off early [like 9ish :( ]

Anyway if people fancy meeting up a little earlier let me know as I haven't got any more plans once I am back in central

Myself and Donna will be staying for an hour at the most. Don't think we can handle more than that but we want to meet up with you guys and see some Akiba quickly.

I need to make sure to bring more comfy shoes next time I go to Japan lol. (Worth it though even with the pain)

i was supposed to meet Bebpo tonight and i've been a) sick as a dog b) have a load of finance stuff to get done so i'm not going to be making it :/
