Yes, 3d printed fakes that are copying a nintendo patent. Physically real, but not the NX controller, or actually a functioning electronic device. Think of a fake phone display model they used to have at best buy.
This is my theory too. The nubs that don't look like they move (and the convenient "explanation") give it away,
I do know one way they could do worse
Make the button attachment shaped like an N64 controller
Why are the sides raised up? Looks like it's all one piece that doesn't slide aroundMaybe the nubs act like the nub on the N3DS.
Dont kill me.
Complete with same thumbnail imprints the 3DS nubs can get.Maybe the nubs act like the nub on the N3DS.

so for button configuration, the only way you can change anything is by adding an attachment with buttons. so you CAN have physical buttons if you really want them, but you'll need to buy the attachment separately.
i don't think you'll want to though because the touch buttons are really good. it doesn't feel exactly like physical buttons, but you can still push down and feel when they've been pressed because of the haptic feedback thing. if you run your fingers across them quickly, you wont feel the buttons, same as when the device is off... but that doesn't matter much because you'll very quickly get used to the positioning of the buttons. i'll admit, it does take a little bit to get used to it, but you'll forget about it after using it for a few hours.
As for the handheld, i dont really know. all I know of is the console, core gamepad(s) and the attachments. I'll update once i know more.
the price is lower, but that doesn't mean this isn't a powerful console. it may not exceed the ps4 (i don't know for sure), but it is definitely on the same level, if not, better than the xbone. that all doesn't really matter though, the games that will be announced will make you forget about the console. ))

Quick and incredibly sloppy but I hope Nintendo surprises people with this Tactus morphing touchscreen technology.
Scrolling shoulder buttons and sticks with force-feedback would probably benefit F-Zero more than any franchise they have.also, this means F-Zero is truly dead. you can't make a new one with that controller. even Metroid could work but not F-Zero.

scurvix (via reddit) said:oh it's certainly on par. what's exceeding is the controller's capability. i guess i may as well just say that it has vr. support, there's a vr headset attachment for the core gamepad. unlike the current vr. headsets, this one is probably the smallest out there, even more so than the google cardboard

Nice touch with the confidential sticker though.

I think I've located a picture of the time traveling guy from Reddit.
So Massive Entertainment in Sweden have a 3D printer?
That looks absolutely disgusting. It makes my skin itch.

It's gonna be haptic, not tactus

Being fairly familiar with 3D printing - that nub looks like sanded ABS plastic.
