Witcher 3: Blood and Wine - Cover Leaked

Xbox One Collector's Edition you got the Nilfgaard/Northern Realms decks

Hearts of Stone Limited Edition you got the Monsters/Scoia'tael decks

Blood & Wine Limited Edition you get the Nilfgaard/Northern Realms decks

If you want all 4 decks you would have needed to buy the XB1 CE + HoS LE or buy HoS LE + buy the other 2 decks from eBay (not cheap!). That doesn't seem fair so I guess this is them re-releasing those 2 decks from the XB1 CE so that everyone else can own them now. Also, the Northern Realms/Nilfgaard decks might be updated with cards that aren't available in the XB1 CE decks. For example, the HoS decks include 4 new cards that aren't available in the base game.

Thanks for the layout!

I hope PC season pass purchasers have a chance to get those physical gwent decks again. I missed the window they had for Hearts of Stone, unfortunately.

It was cheaper just buying the box in the store. Even gives you an extra code for a friend.

Which brings me to the following. As Xbox didn't get a physical release with Hearts of Stone I used the offer, but I'm wondering if the Gwent box is any different, as there is no platform mentioned on it. Can I just buy a PS4 box for this expansion for the cards? I don't want the box if it has the PS4 logo on it (as I don't own a PS4).

Want.

NEED.

Where's the release date?

May 27th according to Amazon...

Welcome to the land of knights, noble ladies and magnificent wineries. When this kingdom is torn apart by a series of savage massacres, Geralt of Rivia takes on his last great contract. Blood and Wine offers over 20 hours of adventure, in which beauty clashes with horror, and love dances with deceit.

Apparently, Dandelion will also be in it.

Giddy up! A serial killer, sounds awesome!

I'm more excited for this expansion than any other full game (perhaps with the exception of Mass Effect: Andromeda).

Can't wait to play both DLC in a row, this is going to be glorious fellow Witchers.

I can't wait. I hope that the contract from the "A Night to Remember" trailer makes an appearance. I also hope they add a bit of dialogue with Triss/Ciri/Yen explaining why Geralt is going all the way to Toussaint. HoS happened in Velen so there was no explaining to do, but going halfway across the continent without explanation is a bit of a stretch.

Vacation?

Is there anything in the base game other than a book about him ?

It would be amazing if he does come back, him and geralt were such a cool combo in the books.

Yes there is. I'm fairly certain he'll show up too.

He has a Gwent card. :p There is something else but you can PM me if you want to know about that in detail.

The Higher Vampire quest in Witcher 3 is one of my favorites in the whole game so if this expansion gives me more stuff like that then ooooooooh boy let's go!

They hurried up and removed the release date and even it's availability, which leads me to believe it's an legit release date.

My favorite quest was the Bloody Baron....until that amazing Heart of Stone expansion came out. All of those missions were beyond amazing!

Dandelion was always 100% in this expansion. From the wikia's page

Yeah, but
he cheated on her and she banished him :p Wonder how they're going to handle that one.

Isn't he
pretty much confirmed dead in the books? Sounds like a serious retcon, not that I would mind, Regis is cool AF.

Anyway, really looking forward to Toussaint, some of the best stories in the book took place there. Very different from the rest, much more laidback and Geralt was like rich there from all the monster hunting. There is no war there either, no one cares about attacking Toussaint, they aren't condidered a threat since half the Duchy is drunk the entire time ^^

Sapkowski has said that he's alive. Even if he wasn't, it also wouldn't be the first time CDPR have taken liberties with the lore. Adda in TW1 was meant to be
mentally retarded and seriously messed up
, but she's fine in that game.

I'm so psyched for this. 20 hours of more witchering (w/ my play speed probably at least 30). The premise sounds awesome too. And to think it will be in my hands by June!

Real life gwent cards?

Why have I not heard of this?

Could someone explain to me when/how have they been selling them? You can of course play real life gwent with people, right?

That cover looks great by the way. Still need to play the first DLC.
