Rumor: Horizon: Zero Dawn delayed to early 2017

So, are there any PS4 exclusives besides UC4 coming out in the West this year?

I'm not holding my breath on Persona 5 or TLG just yet.

MLB, SF, Salt and Sanctuary, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted 4 for now this is all we know for sure :)

Sony has delayed virtually every single first party release at least once this generation, it would be more surprising if something came out when they said it would. Zero reason to ever believe a relase date they put out, hope people keep that in mind for E3.

Ever delayed The Order? (should have never release it but let's ignore that)

But generally you are right.

I feel like a called it when they announced it was aiming for late 2016. The delay was expected.

But I think what annoys me more is Sony constantly dating their games way too early. Any reasonable person could see that a new, expansive IP, from a studio that hasn't done anything like this before, should not have been dated 2016. It's just annoying, because them dating something just means nothing. And most people on here knew it, so how the hell did they not know it?

They may as well say, 'it's coming out on your birthday!'. It'd be as fucking accurate.

Shu wasn't very confident when he was aked about a 2016 release the last time he was on Kinda Funny so not surprising. Probably why we haven't seen the GTSport beta as well, they're focusing on NEO.

Game looks really good, obviously i'd prefer to have it sooner than later but if the delay helps it reach its vast potential and be as good as it can be then I dont mind waiting a bit longer.

They did.

Who said Titanfall 2 and Destiny 2 were Q1? Titanfall 2, if anything, is looking like it'll be end of this year. Destiny 2 will be September 2017 if we're sticking with the September trajectory the series has been accustomed to with the release of Destiny 1, Taken King and the next expansion (I swore I saw a hint around here it was planned for September time again).

It seems Destiny 2 was initially aiming for a September 2016 release, not 2017.

Titanfall 1 released in Spring, so I was thinking EA might have been doing the same with the sequel. Perhaps not!

This and GOW4 are going to be heavily advertised along the PS4K.

Horizon could benefit from a better LOD system that will probably be there in NEO's version, that was the main flaw of this gorgeous game.

Seriously who thought it would release this year? Look at all of Sony's first party releases this gen: Either delayed or simply released in the spring to avoid a crowded lineup.

I'm not surprised at all. Sony has too much going in 2016. This was most likely a casualty. It just stinks because I now have to wait longer for both Horizon and Mass Effect.

I don't think this is a big deal. It might have to do with Neo. I think what would be more telling is multiplatform games on PS4 that release later than their Xbox One counterparts. I am guessing we are going to see a lot of this for developers to implement "Neo" mode. Hopefully, 3rd party titles aren't going to get delayed also otherwise this could mean trouble for Sony as it is totally reliant on 3rd party right now.

Somehow Polyphany is doing a good job of trying to kill the GT brand.

Not surprising, considering PS4K is on the horizon *rimshot*. At least it has a chance of actually looking like the reveal trailer.
