Maybe "Infinite Warfare" is a persistent online platform where you can play select maps and weapons from Infinity Ward's prior games on a rotating basis, similar to Counter-Strike Go's "seasons." And every year there will be a new campaign along with a starter pack of new maps, the first of which is the space campaign. Its not too late to change it, Activision.

Otherwise, this is the end of CoD.

There really should just be a yearly stand alone campaign CoD for $40 and a $20 multiplayer CoD that is updated, as you said, like CS:GO. Every few months new maps, weapons, skins etc. No need for a "new" CoD just keep implementing new "stuff".

I would love to give them a Halo's-worth of money, but it's going to be an uphill climb for them. I'm going to need AI-driven non-linear sandbox campaign levels and plenty of vehicular combat.
