Do some of you actually think it's going to be called "Xbox One II" or are you just taking the piss? I'm having a hard time telling today.

The date in the image says 2014... Did they start planning the second generation's production a year after the Xbox One released?

Well I would suppose the new Xbox and PS4K will be going head to head this fall. Along with PSVR. Crazy. And here Nintendo will be last again. This can't bode well for Nintendo.

Pretty sure PS4k is rumoured to release early next year. This will probably drop in June, if not immediately after their E3 presser.

Yeah. Someone in the other thread mentioned a Digitial Foundry article from 2014 that stated that MS was going to use DDR4

It's really gonna be called that...for the first class citizens. Xbox One the Second or II.

Exciting times ahead...I bet Artisan loves the news.

I don't know why people in this thread are saying it's called XBOX One II when "二代" mearly means "2nd generation".

i think this is related to the plastic component of xbox 2nd gen unit
Hence the unrealistic low weight of 600 ~ 800g.

Also i think the maximum production capacity prediction as made 1.6 million / month was made last year by the Taiwan factory.
It may not be Microsoft's estimate

Probably to research on how to keep the box from overheating while someone watches TV all day. All in a smaller sized box.

I think the main reason it has a huge fan and a big box is because of how long it is powered on.

Since current Xbox One in sales is still made using same part configuration as launch units, I guess this is most likely a "slim" revision.

PS4 already got few internal revisions, but both are still on 28nm APUs. Maybe MS has waited this long so that they could shrink main chip to 20/14nm tech.

Any chance of translating the whole screen? Trying to find out what AP5/AP(V) is/are - is that the name of the company?

Maybe the 600-800 gram figure is just for the mainboard? The final weight of the entire product probably isn't of much interest to the company that's tooling up to print millions of PCBs. And that weight is about what you'd expect.

With Neo from The Matrix being called "The One," it only makes sense for MS to one-up the PS4 Neo name by calling their box the "The One Two."
