I'm having the same problem with that quest. It's either bugged, or we were supposed to do it during SRL.
Yep... I'm SO used to the PR (been using Nirwen's a lot), I'm sure I just need to get used to the AR feel again. I have the vendor Hawksaw, too, and I've been using that a little bit. I share my account with my son and he's been using the doctrine and struggling (he's pretty newb at PvP, though).
Every once in a while, I get completely shredded by someone with a doctrine, though, so I know it can be awesome.

Yeah, I totally understand that. PRs and autos have very different feels to them. Personally I suck using pulses because the bursts throw me off. I'm used to either picking single shots with hand cannons or spraying down with bullet hose autos. There's enough weapon balance currently that you don't have to use any one weapon to be competitive, so stick with what you enjoy. The Doctrine is very strong right now so you might warm up to it eventually but force it if you aren't digging it.

Popped the Trials gold package as a 330. Got a 330 artifact? That's really a thing?
Between that and my IB packages on all 3 characters dropping nothing useful at all (fusion rifle on one, mark on one, nothing at all on the third) it was a tough week for rewards for me. Random IB drops were better. I did really enjoy IB though.

3 HoJ packages, 3 Soulstealer's Claws. To add insult to injury, the first one had the exact roll I was looking for (Rangefinder + double stability perks) and every one since then has been garbage.

Hey Drizz I sent you a message but will post this here too - I have to crash as I have to be up really early to go to NYC for work this week. My offspring (Josh) would like to get a spindle, but doesn't have one yet. He's over 310 now.
I am lame because I would help but have to put other kiddo in bed and then crash myself.
If peeps might be able to help him I would be most grateful. If not I totally understand.

I think the Black Spindle mission was the coolest thing to discover and do in Destiny.

Met two of the best fireteam-mates I've ever played with that day.
Defyler, Zurge and I got through that daily on our first couple of attempts. (Maybe 3rd or 4th)
And then we started reading and hearing about how most people were having a considerable amount of trouble with it.
Gotta admit our ease to success in that mission made me feel pretty leet for a minute (or two) haha

I think its the Longbow. AA is 68 compared to 1K which is 56.

Longbow and zen meteor have more AA. Longbow has 68 and zen meteor has 80, while 1k only has 56. Don't know if there's any others.

Question for PS4 users, how often do you buy new DS4 controllers?
Mine seem to be lasting about 1 year from "heavy" use -- especially the L1 button because mashing it furiously to Titan skate. I suppose one a year isn't too bad considering?

OMG Kraftyys playing on his warlock, I figured he didn't have alts considering I've only ever seen him as a hunter, or at least alts that are leveled up.
This is most likely referring to my post. I won't try to explain myself, but I do want to say again that my post wasn't intended to be negative but it did come out the wrong way and what I intended to say got garbled. Defiance of Yasmin is a scrub level sniper. The AA on it is rediculous. I get headshots when I don't think I should be.

No hard feelings at all dude. I appreciate both this post and your original post you linked. Like I said on Discord, I just want people to focus on the good stuff. All the hard work Neo has done and the incredible generosity of everyone who donated.
I've been meaning to write a longer post about it, to explain a little backstory and say thanks to everyone. Just been super busy this weekend w/ life + Trials. Also gotta get that OT41 ready....
