You have a ways to go.

Wow, so
there is some game left, nice.

Need to check how much time I put in so far, has to be 7,8,9 hours.

I am playing with Auto-Aim:

For me the game asked me for my aiming preferences when I started a New Game, it's not something I could skip. I had to confirm.

I like their approach, everyone can play this, if you're a skilled player, want to enjoy the story or are not that good with games in general, you can play Uncharted 4 just fine. That is nice I guess.

Amazon not shipping early and Gamestop not having any R&C left (those useless fucks !) encouraged me to finally complete Left Behind and replay parts of Tlou remaster.
What a fine game that was.

On my way home from visiting my sister who is a few hours away. Sucked to have to stop right before the end. So I'll beat the game tonight. I will say the last few hours I played is everything I wanted. IGN is on crack, this is easily the best part of the game.

Yeah, GTA V Auto-Aim. Feels pretty nice.

I thought about turning it on.....all I want is a tiny dot in the center of the screen if there is an option for aiming. I didn't even check for it, if there is one But if not I'll have to try it with auto aim.....will make the game feel like a true movie since shit is so smooth even with explosions everywhere

Those of you who are savvy about hardware specs, it seems unlikely that this game would run at 60fps on the Neo, right?

ND were originally aiming for 60fps on the PS4 so it's not as if they're starting from a 30fps basis. They probably got this running well above 30fps but not 60fps (and so decided to cap it at 30fps). For me, 60fps isn't out of the question. In fact I expect it. Potentially they may only have to increase the framerate by 15 simply because they could get it to 45fps with the PS4.

It's because the game isn't officially available yet so trophies aren't live. Once the game releases officially, you'll be able to see your trophies no problem.

If Neo's rumored specs are real, then it's very likely it will run at 60 fps on it. Just because a game looks nice doesn't mean you get relatively less of a benefit from more powerful hardware.

Then again it's up to ND if they want to focus on framerate rather than improving other effects.

So some of you with press copies were saying that people with press copies could log in to the MP servers at certain times?

What times would those be? I want to try and log in with my non-press copy. I imagine it might work? Every press copy I've ever received has been identical to the retail versions, so unless the press version has different code... I imagine anyone can log in during those times?

If someone sent you a schedule with the times could you post those here? I'd like to check out multiplayer and finish my review of the game.

Don't kill journalists or else they might say the MP is "poorly balanced". :p

The last multiplayer review session was on May 4.

This game is quite possibly the benchmark on PS4 in terms of its graphics and near -photo-realism....has the bar been set?

I think it looks amazing because it's not going for photo realism. It's a stylized realism that helps it avoid uncanny valley, especially in the face motion capture.

Can I just say that there's another Easter Egg which is a non-Naughty Dog reference to gaming, and it is absolutely fucking brilliant. It's a really protracted and relatively important part of the plot, too, which I'm sure will go over many people's heads.

I found it far more exciting than the early-ish Easter Egg which lots of people were going crazy about in the last couple of days (still a brilliant Easter Egg...)

Chloe and Cutter weren't vital to the story like Sam but they were more interesting and entertaining I thought.

I found them all equally entertaining, I'd say. Sam's very much his own character.

On another note, how did reviewers review this game when multiplayer doesn't work till the 10th? That's a big component of the package in my eyes. There are many fans that love the series for its multiplayer offering.

This is something that gets me. With improved and refined combat (esp. at 60FPS) the multiplayer is going to fill a big hole for people who wanted more combat in the singleplayer mode.

I get the impression that Naughty Dog toned down combat a lot in singleplayer because they were upping the ante with multiplayer, which is wall-to-wall combat.

and frankly, you shouldn't be able to. If you wanna rush somebody, put a bullet in them on the way so they can flinch and you safely start a combo.

I'd argue just the opposite, that Hard mode forces you to be better utilize all the mechanics. You have to use those grenades, you have to prioritize enemies and better weapon drops to use on them, you have to know the environments, you have to stealth to take out SOME of the guards, you have to use the right weapon at the right time(snipers and explosives at a distance, pisotla/shotgun/sub-machine guns up close), you have to take advantage of whenever your NPC parter grabs a goon, you have to use cover and be careful of it being destroyed, you have to utilize your mobility to avoid gunfire, you have to be smart about your melees or rope swings...its mechanically the sharpest Uncharted yet, so play on a difficulty where you need to use them right.

I'm almost finished on normal. So excited to replay for the bolded.

Yeah, I've seen conflicting reports. Definitely wanna start on crushing, I'd be miffed if I had to settle for hard.

Crushing is greyed out at the start and looks unselectable but if you click it says 'are you sure' if you click yes it loads on crushing.

I've beaten the previous UC games on crushing but personally chose not to play this one like that. It removes some of the hud elements during stealth which facilitate the learning of the stealth systems and how AI shift between states, and also spoils the moment to moment 'flow' of the game as you transition between these states. On Crushing there would be no reason to want to play any of these segments of the game anything but stealthily and in most instances unless you were prepared for detection, they would end in a checkpoint restart if you were caught.

I feel the game feels far better, and is much closer to how Neil and the team intended the game to be experienced at lower difficulties, where you can flexibly shift between combat styles.

Aww man I fucked up. I had put my PS4 on standby last night right at the end fo the convoy chase from E3, right when the truck flipped over. I turned my PS4 on today but I just left it on because I was on the computer and when I switched to the PS4, It was alrady on another chapter and I missed the entire scene before that. Is there a way I can watch it without replaying that whole chapter over?? I don't want to do that whole chapter again.

People since informed me that the press did get to access multiplayer on may 4th and some earlier dates, but I still have a problem with the way the majority of reviews were written. It's clear that many outlets didn't participate in the mutiplayer review opportunity, and many that did dismiss the mutiplayer as non-important and post a generic paragraph about how it adds to the packages lifespan. Gamesradar explicitly say that 'no one buys Uncharted for multiplayer'.

There's a lot of really crappy journalism surrounding the review coverage of this game.

Yup. It breaks my heart.
