Reposting from the other thread:

The resolution list, due to the way it is ordered and the number of entries, looks like it's populated by Windows. But obviously you can't say for certain.
Also, it supports borderless fullscreen mode in the game options, which is nice.
Arranged and original music options are there for those who asked about that.

Anyway, I lost interest due to the lack of dual audio, I've already played it a lot of times with the English track. I'll buy it if someone mods that.

If it turns out it's populated by Windows, that means support for 4k res?

Every single save had an identical timestamp. So they've either been sitting on this for a very long time, or they ported over save files from the PS3/PS4 version on a specific date to work with.

I thought that. When they loaded it a very fast message appeared. Something about character names being reset to default over something.

If it's populated by Windows and implemented in a sane way then yes. Or 8k or whatever your PC reports.

(This was the case for FF13 LR, which is the most recent "high-end" S-E port)

Thanks for the heads up.

For anyone who joins after this, whenever they play "Man With The Machine Gun" post !giveaway in the chat for a chance at a steam key.

Also hoping someone patches in JP audio sooner rather than later.

Can't tell if it's my twitch player or the game that looks pretty jittery/sluggish.

For now I'll say my twitch player which always has lag issues. So hopefully it's that.

Probably a mix of 30fps + streaming

Looks like I'll be cranking up the AF in nVidia control panel

Wish I could get a download code or something seeing as I've already bought FFX on Three other platforms :(

Might grab FFX-2 though, since I've still only put like ~5 hours into it.

Hopefully there's an option for more than that. Locked 30 FPS was fine in 2001, but that's unacceptable in this day and age.

Console games designed for NTSC TVs often have the animations and everything designed around being 30fps, cranking the game to 60 breaks things. It wasn't originally designed to run at 60fps on a PC, it was trying to get the most out of the PS2 hardware. The framerate doesn't impact gameplay.

The "Super secret options" they've not shown yet is probably going to be the "No Encounter" and "Speedhack" that we've had from before and was mentioned in the description from elsewhere.
