Couldn't take a screenshot, but I saw resolution options being various, Textures settings, Ambient Occlusion (HDAO was here), MSAA (up to x8 it seems) shadow resolution (4k*4k), AFx16, Color correction and other stuff like this.

Ingame options for Anisotropic Filtering, MSAA, post-processing AA and Ambient Occlusion, plus V-Sync. Texture quality is a simple "low, medium, high" setting. Oh, and shadow quality.
Yeah. In game toggle.
HBAO+ is better, but HDAO is ok too, certainly better than plain ssao methods.

The stream is 30, and they won't answer whether or not the game is 60. Even if it is locked hopefully its as simple as editing an ini to unlock to to 60. But if its running at 30 I probably am going to wait until someone figures out how to get it at 60.

Also nice to see an in-menu quit option after so many previous FF ports that instaquit when you hit escape or bring up a windows menu.

Most of that has been options from the get go on all their flagship ports.
They know people don't have the time anymore and just want to see the story it seems.
Yeah, same here. I'm currently playing it for the first time on PS3 and the VA is pretty terrible, specially Tidus and Yuna.

Pretty sure that the japanese audio files will pop up somewhere on the internet.

So once people mod in Japanese voices (i like the NA dub but it's nice to have) and 60fps, I'll have everything I could ever want from this game.
I guess blitzball difficulty mods would also be welcome.

I don't want any of this. I want "get <specific item>" so I don't have to race any more chocobos or dodge lightning or avoid butterflies, because I've already done those and once in my lifetime was plenty. Also, give me upgrade spheres without grinding at the monster arena for 300 hours.
On second thought, all items seems to cover it. I'll just wait until endgame to use it.
I'd like to not break the law in order to save myself from the terrible VO.

Proper PC resolution support and what looks like very good graphics settings! Resolution,Textures, AF, AA, Ambient occlusion, Shadow rez etc.
Game seems to run great too.
30fps is understandable. Its a ps2 game so they probably locked the animations/game speed to the framerate.
Makes me hopeful for a great XII port!

It's two games with remastered CG I'm guessing? I wouldn't be surprised if the cutscenes were slightly compressed on the console remasters on account of the vita version.
Still a bargain at less than 1GB per hour of gameplay
JP VO isn't that much better in this game in particular.

Does this version still have the shitty character models? Yeah, mods will fix it and all that, whatever. I just wanna know if the vanilla version has the real character models back.
There are ways to do dual audio without making people download the whole thing.

Damn shame if true but I have a hard time believing it'll be a less grating experience than the VO in my native language.

Thankfully for me personally it's not a big deal because I played the PS3 version in Japanese and it was pretty bad. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe I'm just used to the English VA because of over 400h I had with this game on the PS2 or whatever but I'm buying it and supporting the effort.
Not to mention it's better than stuff that was already released on PC, minus 6.
